以利亞前謂民眾曰、爾持兩端、躊躇莫決、將至何時、如以耶和華為上帝、則從之、如以巴力為上帝、則從彼、民不答一詞、

以利亚前来对众民说：“你们心持两意要到几时呢？若耶和华是神，就当顺从耶和华；若巴力是神，就当顺从巴力。”众民一言不答。

以利亚近前来对众百姓说：“你们心持二意要到几时呢？如果耶和华是上帝，就当顺从耶和华；如果是巴力，就当顺从巴力。”百姓一言不答。

以利亚近前来对众百姓说：“你们心持二意要到几时呢？如果耶和华是神，就当顺从耶和华；如果是巴力，就当顺从巴力。”百姓一言不答。

以利亚走到众人面前说：“你们三心二意要到什么时候呢？如果耶和华是上帝，你们当跟从祂；如果巴力是上帝，你们就跟从他吧！”他们都默不作声。

以利亚走近众人说：“你们三心两意，要到几时呢？如果耶和华是神，你们就应当随从耶和华；如果巴力是神，你们就应当随从巴力。”众人一句话也不回答。

以利亞前來對眾民說：「你們心持兩意要到幾時呢？若耶和華是神，就當順從耶和華；若巴力是神，就當順從巴力。」眾民一言不答。

以利亞近前來對眾百姓說：「你們心持二意要到幾時呢？如果耶和華是上帝，就當順從耶和華；如果是巴力，就當順從巴力。」百姓一言不答。

以利亞湊近眾民面前，說：『你們猶豫於兩可之間、要到幾時呢？如果永恆主是上帝，你們就應該隨從永恆主；如果巴力是上帝，你們就隨從巴力好啦。』眾民一句話也不回答。

以利亞至民前曰、爾曹執持兩端、躊躇未決、將伊於何底乎。如以耶和華為上帝、則從耶和華、如以巴力為上帝、則從巴力。斯民無言以對。

以利亞至民眾前曰、爾曹心持二意、何時乃己、如以主為天主、則從主、如以巴力為天主、則從巴力、民不答一言、

Elijah went before the people and said,“ How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing.

Elijah went there and stood in front of the people. He said,“ How long will it take you to make up your minds? If the Lord is the one and only God, worship him. But if Baal is the one and only God, worship him.” The people didn’t say anything.

And Elijah came near to all the people and said,“ How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” And the people did not answer him a word.

Then Elijah stood in front of them and said,“ How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” But the people were completely silent.

Then Elijah approached all the people and said,“ How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him. But if Baal, follow him.” But the people didn’t answer him a word.

Then Elijah approached all the people and said,“ How long are you going to struggle with the two choices? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him so much as a word.

And Elijah came to all the people, and said,“ How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

And Elijah came near unto all the people, and said, How long go ye limping between the two sides? if Jehovah be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Then Elijah approached all the people and said,“ How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If Yahweh is God, follow Him. But if Baal, follow him.” But the people didn’t answer him a word.

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD[ be] God, follow him: but if Baal,[ then] follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Elijah approached all the people and said,“ How long are you going to be paralyzed by indecision? If the LORD is the true God, then follow him, but if Baal is, follow him!” But the people did not say a word.

Elijah came near to all the people, and said,“ How long will you waver between the two sides? If Yahweh is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” The people didn’t say a word.

未有能事二主者、蓋惡此愛彼、或重此輕彼、爾不能事上帝、又事財貨也、

爾若以事耶和華為不善、今日可擇所欲事者、或爾祖在河東所事之神、或爾所居斯土、亞摩利人之神、至我及我家、必事耶和華、

爾不能飲主杯、兼飲鬼杯、不能與主席、兼與鬼席、我儕可犯主忌乎、抑力勝於主乎、○

勿與不信者耦、蓋義與不義、何侶之有、光與暗、何交之有、基督與惡者、何契之有、信者與不信者、何與之有、上帝殿與偶像、何同之有、我儕乃維生上帝殿、如上帝曰、我將居其中、遊其間、我為彼上帝、彼為我民、

如是、斯族寅畏耶和華、又奉事其雕像、其子與孫亦若是、厥祖所行、彼亦效之、迄於今日、

撒母耳告以色列家曰、如爾一心歸耶和華、則必除異族之神、及亞斯他錄於爾中、專心歸耶和華、而獨事之、則彼援爾於非利士人手、

我知爾諸行、乃不寒不熱、我願爾或寒或熱、爾既為溫、不熱不寒、我必吐爾出諸口、

以及凡在屋巔、崇拜天象者、並崇拜耶和華、指耶和華而誓、亦指瑪勒堪而誓者、

以此顯示於爾、俾知耶和華乃上帝、其外無他、

民眾見此、則俯伏曰、耶和華乃上帝、耶和華乃上帝、

曰、爾中所有異族之神、今當去之、專心歸從以色列之上帝耶和華、民曰、我必奉事我上帝耶和華、而聽其言、

拉班與彼土利曰、斯事由於耶和華、我儕不能與汝言其是非、

當知耶和華為上帝、彼乃造我、我亦屬之、我為其民、為其牧場之羊兮、

豈不知爾獻己為僕以順之、即為所順者之僕、或於罪以致死、或於順以致義乎、感謝上帝、緣爾素為罪之僕、今自乃心、服爾所受之教範、得釋於罪、而為義之僕矣、因爾形軀之弱、我則以常人所言言之、爾曹曾獻肢體為不潔不法之僕、以至無度、今宜獻肢體為義之僕、以至成聖、爾昔為罪之僕、不服於義、昔之所行、今日恥之、其效維何、終則死亡、今爾得釋於罪、為上帝僕、其效成聖、終則永生、

禱耶和華、蒙其垂聽、而允所求、使返耶路撒冷、復其國位、瑪拿西始知耶和華為上帝、○

猶大曰、我儕於主、夫復何言、尚有何辭、焉能自解、上帝摘僕之咎、獲爵於其手者、與我儕咸為主之奴、

耶和華歟、爾乃上帝、以此福許爾僕、

法利賽人聞耶穌使撒都該人語塞、遂集、

我儕知律所言、乃為律下者言之、以塞眾口、使舉世服罪於上帝前、

謂之曰、友乎、不衣禮服、胡為乎來、其人默然、

厥後、摩西亞倫入告法老曰、以色列之上帝耶和華云、當釋吾民、往野守節、法老曰、耶和華為誰、使我聽其命、而釋以色列民乎、我不識耶和華、亦不釋以色列民、

夫子、律中之誡、孰為大、

我乃微賤、何以答爾、惟以手掩口耳、我言之、一而再、不復答之、不復贅矣、

平旦、召其徒、選十有二人、謂之使徒、
