大衛就打發人到他瑪家裏去見他瑪，說：『你往你哥哥暗嫩的屋裏去，給他豫備食品。』他瑪就到她哥哥暗嫩的屋裏去；暗嫩正在躺着。他瑪把生麵和好，就在暗嫩眼前作心狀餅，將餅煮熟。

大衛住在營寨裏，把營寨叫做大衛城；大衛又從米羅向聖殿方面往裏、周圍築牆。
