said to David,“ You will not get in here.” Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion— which is the City of David.

said to David,“ You won’t get in here.” But David captured the fort of Zion. It became known as the City of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will not come in here.” Nevertheless, David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

The people of Jebus taunted David, saying,“ You’ll never get in here!” But David captured the fortress of Zion, which is now called the City of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will never get in here.” Yet David did capture the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You shall not enter here.” Nevertheless David took the mountain stronghold of Zion( that is, the city of David).

But the inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You shall not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion( that is, the City of David).

And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come in hither. Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion; the same is the city of David.

The residents of Jebus said to David,“ You cannot invade this place!” But David captured the fortress of Zion( that is, the City of David).

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will not come in here.” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.

如果他能與我決鬥，擊殺了我，我們就作你們的奴僕；但是，如果我能勝過他，擊殺了他，你們就作我們的奴僕，服事我們。”那非利士人又說：“今天我向以色列人的軍隊罵陣。你們派一個人出來，我們可以決鬥！”

後來大衛住在保障裡，稱保障為“大衛的城”。大衛又從米羅向裡面周圍築牆。

正如經上所記：“看哪，我在錫安放了一塊絆腳石，是絆倒人的磐石；信靠他的人，必不致失望。”

卻揀選了猶大支派，他所愛的錫安山。

那時，所羅門把以色列的長老、各支派的首領和以色列的族長，都召集到耶路撒冷自己面前，要把耶和華的約櫃從大衛城，就是錫安運上來。

大衛住在堡壘中，因此人把那堡壘稱為大衛城。

論到錫安，必有話說：“這一個、那一個都是生在錫安的。”至高者必親自堅立這城。

倚靠耶和華的人好像錫安山，總不動搖，永遠屹立。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）群山怎樣圍繞著耶路撒冷，耶和華也照樣圍繞著他的子民，從現在直到永遠。

你僕人不但擊殺過獅子，也擊殺過熊。這個未受割禮的非利士人也必像一隻獅子或熊一樣，因為他向永活的神的軍隊罵陣。”

大衛問站在他旁邊的人說：“如果有人擊殺這個非利士人，除去以色列人的恥辱，那人會得到怎麼的對待呢？這未受割禮的非利士人是誰呢？竟敢向永活的神的軍隊罵陣？”

因為耶和華揀選了錫安，定意把它當作自己的居所。他說：

我又觀看，見羊羔站在錫安山上，跟他在一起的還有十四萬四千人。他們的額上都寫著他的名和他父的名。

耶和華大發震怒，傾倒他的烈怒；他在錫安放火，吞滅了錫安的根基。地上的君王，以及世上所有的居民都不相信，會有任何敵人和仇敵攻進耶路撒冷的城門。

那時，所羅門把以色列的長老、各支派的首領和以色列人各家族的首領，都召集到耶路撒冷，要把耶和華的約櫃從大衛城，就是錫安運上來。

你們要歌頌住在錫安的耶和華，要在萬民中傳揚他的作為。

因為在那裡設有審判的寶座，就是大衛家的寶座。

“我已經在錫安我的聖山上，立了我的君王。”

耶和華愛錫安的城門，勝過雅各的一切居所。

你們要在錫安四處巡行，繞城一周，數點城樓，細察它的外牆，巡視它的堡壘，使你們可以述說給後代的人聽。

在北面的錫安山、大君王的城，美麗高聳，是全地所喜歡的。

有人告訴大衛王：“耶和華因為神的約櫃的緣故，賜福給俄別‧以東的家和一切屬他的。”大衛就去，歡歡喜喜把神的約櫃從俄別‧以東的家中抬上大衛的城裡去。

於是大衛不肯把耶和華的約櫃運進大衛的城到他那裡去，卻轉運到迦特人俄別‧以東的家裡去。

你們卻是來到錫安山和永活的神的城，就是天上的耶路撒冷；在那裡有千萬的天使聚集，
