Psalm 83:5 - »Kommt!«, sagen sie, »wir wollen dieses Volk ausrotten! Den Namen Israel soll niemand mehr kennen!«
Psalm 83:6 - Darin sind sie sich völlig einig, alle haben sich gegen dich verschworen:
Psalm 83:7 - die Leute von Edom und die Ismaeliter, die Moabiter und die Hagariter,
Jeremia 49:1 - Dies ist Gottes Botschaft an die Ammoniter: »So spricht der Herr: Hat Israel denn keine Kinder, keine Erben, die das Land in Besitz nehmen könnten? Warum hat dann Milkom , der Götze der Ammoniter, das Land Gad eingenommen? Warum wohnt sein Volk nun in Israels Städten?
Jeremia 48:27 - Ihr Moabiter, ständig habt ihr euch über die Israeliten lustig gemacht. Ihr habt auf sie herabgesehen, als seien sie Diebe, die auf frischer Tat ertappt wurden.
Jeremia 48:28 - Verlasst eure Städte und haust in Höhlen, lebt wie die Tauben, die ihr Nest am Felsabhang bauen!«
Jeremia 48:29 - »Wir haben gehört, wie stolz und hochmütig die Moabiter sind. Eingebildet und selbstherrlich benehmen sie sich, hochtrabend und überheblich!«
Amos 1:13 - So spricht der Herr: Die Leute von Ammon begehen ein abscheuliches Verbrechen nach dem anderen. Sie führten Krieg, um ihre Herrschaft auszudehnen, sie ließen sogar schwangeren Frauen im Gebiet von Gilead den Bauch aufschlitzen. Das werde ich nicht ungestraft lassen!
