  • Numbers 33:2 - The Lord commanded Moses to record their journey. Here are the places where they camped.

  • Numbers 33:11 - They left the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.
  • Numbers 33:12 - They left the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
  • Numbers 33:13 - They left Dophkah and camped at Alush.
  • Numbers 33:14 - They left Alush and camped at Rephidim. But there was no water there for the people to drink.
  • Numbers 33:15 - They left Rephidim and camped in the Desert of Sinai.
  • Numbers 33:16 - They left the Desert of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.
  • Numbers 33:17 - They left Kibroth Hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.
  • Numbers 33:18 - They left Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
  • Numbers 33:19 - They left Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.
  • Numbers 33:20 - They left Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.
  • Numbers 33:21 - They left Libnah and camped at Rissah.
  • Numbers 33:22 - They left Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
  • Numbers 33:23 - They left Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
  • Numbers 33:24 - They left Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.

  • Numbers 33:26 - They left Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
  • Numbers 33:27 - They left Tahath and camped at Terah.

  • Numbers 33:30 - They left Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.
  • Numbers 33:31 - They left Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan.
  • Numbers 33:32 - They left Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Haggidgad.
  • Numbers 33:33 - They left Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
  • Numbers 33:34 - They left Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
  • Numbers 33:35 - They left Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.
  • Numbers 33:36 - They left Ezion Geber and camped at Kadesh. Kadesh was in the Desert of Zin.
  • Numbers 33:37 - They left Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor. It was on the border of Edom.
  • Numbers 33:38 - Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor when the Lord commanded him to. That’s where he died. It happened on the first day of the fifth month. It was the 40th year after the Israelites came out of Egypt.
  • Numbers 33:39 - Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.
  • Numbers 33:40 - The Canaanite king of Arad lived in the Negev Desert in Canaan. He heard that the Israelites were coming.
  • Numbers 33:41 - They left Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
  • Numbers 33:42 - They left Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
  • Numbers 33:43 - They left Punon and camped at Oboth.
  • Numbers 33:44 - They left Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim. It was on the border of Moab.
  • Numbers 33:45 - They left Iye Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad.
  • Numbers 33:46 - They left Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.
  • Numbers 33:47 - They left Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim near Nebo.
  • Numbers 33:48 - They left the mountains of Abarim and camped on the plains of Moab. That area was by the Jordan River across from Jericho.
  • Numbers 33:49 - They camped there along the Jordan River from Beth Jeshimoth to Abel Shittim.
  • Numbers 33:50 - On the plains of Moab the Lord spoke to Moses. He spoke to him by the Jordan River across from Jericho. The Lord said,
  • Numbers 33:51 - “Speak to the Israelites. Tell them, ‘Go across the Jordan River into Canaan.
  • Numbers 33:52 - Drive out all those living in the land. The statues of their gods are made out of stone and metal. Destroy all those statues. And destroy all the high places where they are worshiped.
  • Numbers 33:53 - Take the land as your own. Make your homes in it. I have given it to you.
  • Numbers 33:54 - Cast lots when you divide up the land. Do it based on the number of people in each tribe and family. Give a larger share to a larger group. And give a smaller group a smaller share. The share they receive by casting lots will belong to them. Give out the shares based on the number of people in Israel’s tribes.
  • Numbers 33:55 - “ ‘But suppose you do not drive out the people living in the land. Then those you allow to remain there will become like needles in your eyes. They will become like thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.
  • Numbers 33:56 - Then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.’ ”
  • 1 Samuel 27:1 - David thought, “Some day Saul will destroy me. So the best thing I can do is escape. I’ll go to the land of the Philistines. Then Saul will stop looking for me everywhere in Israel. His hand won’t be able to reach me.”
  • 1 Samuel 19:18 - After David had run away and escaped, he went to Samuel at Ramah. He told him everything Saul had done to him. Then David and Samuel went to Naioth and stayed there.

  • Hebrews 11:8 - Abraham had faith. So he obeyed God. God called him to go to a place he would later receive as his own. So he went. He did it even though he didn’t know where he was going.
  • Hebrews 11:38 - The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains. They lived in caves. They lived in holes in the ground.
  • 1 Samuel 22:1 - David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. His brothers and the other members of his family heard about it. So they went down to join him there.
  • 1 Samuel 22:2 - Everyone who was in trouble or owed money or was unhappy gathered around him. He became their commander. About 400 men were with him.
  • 1 Samuel 22:3 - From there David went to Mizpah in Moab. He spoke to the king of Moab. He said, “Please let my father and mother come and stay with you. Let them stay until I learn what God will do for me.”
  • 1 Samuel 22:4 - So David left his parents with the king of Moab. They stayed with him as long as David was in his usual place of safety.
  • 1 Samuel 22:5 - But the prophet Gad spoke to David. He said, “Don’t stay in your usual place of safety. Go into the land of Judah.” So David left and went to the forest of Hereth.
  • Revelation 20:12 - I saw the dead, great and small, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened. Then another book was opened. It was the book of life. The dead were judged by what they had done. The things they had done were written in the books.
  • Psalm 105:13 - They wandered from nation to nation. They wandered from one kingdom to another.
  • Psalm 105:14 - But God didn’t allow anyone to treat them badly. To keep them safe, he gave a command to kings.
  • Job 16:20 - My go-between is my friend as I pour out my tears to God.
  • Isaiah 63:9 - When they suffered, he suffered with them. He sent his angel to save them. He set them free because he is loving and kind. He lifted them up and carried them. He did it again and again in days long ago.
  • Hebrews 11:13 - All these people were still living by faith when they died. They didn’t receive the things God had promised. They only saw them and welcomed them from a long way off. They openly said that they were outsiders and strangers on earth.
  • Psalm 126:5 - Those who cry as they plant their crops will sing with joy when they gather them in.
  • Psalm 126:6 - Those who go out weeping as they carry seeds to plant will come back singing with joy. They will bring the new crop back with them.
  • Psalm 121:8 - The Lord will watch over your life no matter where you go, both now and forever.
  • Psalm 139:16 - your eyes saw my body even before it was formed. You planned how many days I would live. You wrote down the number of them in your book before I had lived through even one of them.

  • Revelation 7:17 - The Lamb, who is at the center of the area around the throne, will be their shepherd. ‘He will lead them to springs of living water.’ ( Isaiah 49:10 ) ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ” ( Isaiah 25:8 )
  • 2 Kings 20:5 - “Go back and speak to Hezekiah. He is the ruler of my people. Tell him, ‘The Lord, the God of King David, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. And I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to my temple.
  • Malachi 3:16 - Those who had respect for the Lord talked with one another. And the Lord heard them. A list of people and what they did was written in a book in front of him. It included the names of those who respected the Lord and honored him.
  • Psalm 39:12 - “Lord, hear my prayer. Listen to my cry for help. Pay attention to my weeping. I’m like an outsider in your home. I’m just a stranger, like all my family who lived before me.
