  • Numbers 24:7 - Water will flow from his buckets, And his seed will be by many waters, And his king shall be higher than Agag, And his kingdom shall be exalted.

  • Numbers 24:24 - But ships shall come from the coast of Kittim, And they shall oppress Asshur and oppress Eber; So they also will come to destruction.”

  • Numbers 15:14 - Now if a stranger resides among you, or one who may be among you throughout your generations, and he wants to make an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the Lord, just as you do so shall he do.
  • Numbers 15:15 - As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who resides among you, a permanent statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.

  • Numbers 15:20 - Of the first of your dough you shall lift up a loaf as an offering; as an offering of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up.

  • Numbers 15:22 - ‘But when you unintentionally do wrong and fail to comply with all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses,

  • 1 Chronicles 6:16 - The sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

  • Joshua 21:2 - And they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “The Lord commanded through Moses to give us cities to live in, with their pasture lands for our cattle.”
  • Joshua 21:3 - So the sons of Israel gave the Levites from their inheritance these cities with their pasture lands, in accordance with the command of the Lord.
  • Joshua 21:4 - Then the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. And to the sons of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, thirteen cities were given by lot from the tribe of Judah, from the tribe of the Simeonites, and from the tribe of Benjamin.
  • Joshua 21:5 - And to the rest of the sons of Kohath ten cities were given by lot from the families of the tribe of Ephraim, from the tribe of Dan, and from the half-tribe of Manasseh.

  • Joshua 21:40 - All these were the cities of the sons of Merari according to their families, the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.

  • Numbers 24:25 - Then Balaam arose, and he departed and returned to his place, and Balak also went on his way.
  • Numbers 15:5 - and you shall prepare wine for the drink offering, a fourth of a hin, with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.
  • Numbers 15:6 - Or for a ram you shall prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil;
  • Numbers 15:7 - and for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine as a soothing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:8 - And when you prepare a bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a special vow, or for peace offerings to the Lord,
  • Numbers 15:9 - then you shall offer with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil;
  • Numbers 15:10 - and you shall offer as the drink offering half a hin of wine as an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:11 - ‘This is how it shall be done for each ox, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the goats.
  • Numbers 15:12 - According to the number that you prepare, so you shall do for each one according to their number.
  • Numbers 15:13 - Everyone who is a native shall do these things in this way, in presenting an offering by fire as a soothing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:14 - Now if a stranger resides among you, or one who may be among you throughout your generations, and he wants to make an offering by fire, as a soothing aroma to the Lord, just as you do so shall he do.
  • Numbers 15:15 - As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who resides among you, a permanent statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:16 - There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the stranger who resides with you.’ ”
  • Numbers 15:17 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Numbers 15:18 - “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land where I am bringing you,
  • Numbers 15:19 - then it shall be, that when you eat from the food of the land, you shall lift up an offering to the Lord.
  • Numbers 15:20 - Of the first of your dough you shall lift up a loaf as an offering; as an offering of the threshing floor, so you shall lift it up.
  • Numbers 15:21 - From the first of your dough you shall give to the Lord an offering throughout your generations.
  • Numbers 15:22 - ‘But when you unintentionally do wrong and fail to comply with all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses,
  • Numbers 15:23 - that is, all that the Lord has commanded you through Moses from the day that the Lord gave commandments and onward, throughout your generations,
  • 1 Chronicles 6:16 - The sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:17 - These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:18 - The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:19 - The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ households.
  • Joshua 21:1 - Then the heads of fathers’ households of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of fathers’ households of the tribes of the sons of Israel.
  • Joshua 21:2 - And they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “The Lord commanded through Moses to give us cities to live in, with their pasture lands for our cattle.”
  • Joshua 21:3 - So the sons of Israel gave the Levites from their inheritance these cities with their pasture lands, in accordance with the command of the Lord.
  • Joshua 21:4 - Then the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. And to the sons of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, thirteen cities were given by lot from the tribe of Judah, from the tribe of the Simeonites, and from the tribe of Benjamin.
  • Joshua 21:5 - And to the rest of the sons of Kohath ten cities were given by lot from the families of the tribe of Ephraim, from the tribe of Dan, and from the half-tribe of Manasseh.
  • Joshua 21:6 - And to the sons of Gershon thirteen cities were given by lot from the families of the tribe of Issachar, from the tribe of Asher, from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
  • Joshua 21:7 - To the sons of Merari according to their families twelve cities were given from the tribe of Reuben, from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun.
  • Joshua 21:8 - Now the sons of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities with their pasture lands, as the Lord had commanded through Moses.
  • Joshua 21:9 - They gave these cities which are mentioned here by name from the tribe of the sons of Judah and from the tribe of the sons of Simeon;
  • Joshua 21:10 - and they were for the sons of Aaron, one of the families of the Kohathites, of the sons of Levi, because the lot was theirs first.
  • Joshua 21:11 - So they gave them Kiriath-arba (Arba being the father of Anak), that is, Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with its surrounding pasture lands.
  • Joshua 21:12 - But the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as his possession.
  • Joshua 21:13 - So to the sons of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron, the city of refuge for the one who commits manslaughter, with its pasture lands, Libnah with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:14 - Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:15 - Holon with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:16 - Ain with its pasture lands, Juttah with its pasture lands, and Beth-shemesh with its pasture lands; nine cities from these two tribes.
  • Joshua 21:17 - From the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:18 - Anathoth with its pasture lands, and Almon with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:19 - All the cities of the sons of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
  • Joshua 21:20 - Then the cities from the tribe of Ephraim were allotted to the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, that is, to the rest of the sons of Kohath.
  • Joshua 21:21 - They gave them Shechem, the city of refuge for the one who commits manslaughter, with its pasture lands, in the hill country of Ephraim, and Gezer with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:22 - and Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth-horon with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:23 - And from the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:24 - Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath-rimmon with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:25 - From the half-tribe of Manasseh, they allotted Taanach with its pasture lands and Gath-rimmon with its pasture lands; two cities.
  • Joshua 21:26 - All the cities with their pasture lands for the families of the rest of the sons of Kohath were ten.
  • Joshua 21:27 - And to the sons of Gershon, one of the families of the Levites, from the half-tribe of Manasseh, they gave Golan in Bashan, the city of refuge for the one who commits manslaughter, with its pasture lands, and Be-eshterah with its pasture lands; two cities.
  • Joshua 21:28 - And from the tribe of Issachar they gave Kishion with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:29 - Jarmuth with its pasture lands, and En-gannim with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:30 - From the tribe of Asher, they gave Mishal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:31 - Helkath with its pasture lands, and Rehob with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:32 - And from the tribe of Naphtali, they gave Kedesh in Galilee, the city of refuge for the one who commits manslaughter, with its pasture lands, Hammoth-dor with its pasture lands, and Kartan with its pasture lands; three cities.
  • Joshua 21:33 - All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
  • Joshua 21:34 - And to the families of the sons of Merari, the rest of the Levites, they gave from the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its pasture lands, Kartah with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:35 - Dimnah with its pasture lands, and Nahalal with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:36 - From the tribe of Reuben they gave Bezer with its pasture lands, Jahaz with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:37 - Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands; four cities.
  • Joshua 21:38 - And from the tribe of Gad, they gave Ramoth in Gilead, the city of refuge for the one who commits manslaughter, with its pasture lands, Mahanaim with its pasture lands,
  • Joshua 21:39 - Heshbon with its pasture lands, and Jazer with its pasture lands; four cities in all.
  • Joshua 21:40 - All these were the cities of the sons of Merari according to their families, the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.
  • Joshua 21:41 - All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.
  • Joshua 21:42 - These cities individually had their surrounding pasture lands; this is how it was with all these cities.
  • Joshua 21:43 - So the Lord gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and lived in it.
  • Joshua 21:44 - And the Lord gave them rest on every side, in accordance with everything that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the Lord handed all their enemies over to them.
  • Joshua 21:45 - Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; everything came to pass.
  • Nehemiah 11:1 - Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem, but the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in Jerusalem, the holy city, while nine-tenths remained in the other cities.
  • Nehemiah 11:2 - And the people blessed all the men who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.
  • Nehemiah 11:3 - Now these are the heads of the provinces who lived in Jerusalem, but in the cities of Judah each lived on his own property in their cities—the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, the temple servants, and the descendants of Solomon’s servants.

  • Nehemiah 11:9 - Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer, and Judah the son of Hassenuah was second in command of the city.

  • Nehemiah 11:12 - and their kinsmen who did the work of the temple, 822; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,
  • Numbers 26:57 - These are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
  • Numbers 26:58 - These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korahites. Kohath fathered Amram.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:1 - The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
  • 1 Chronicles 6:2 - The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
