  • Ezekiel 45:9 - ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Enough, O princes of Israel! Put away violence and destruction, and practice justice and righteousness. Stop your forceful seizure of property from My people,” says the Lord God.
  • Psalms 27:8 - When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O Lord, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].”

  • Deuteronomy 15:2 - This is the regulation for the release: every creditor shall forgive what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not require repayment from his neighbor and his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

  • Deuteronomy 24:12 - If the man is poor, you shall not keep his pledge overnight.
  • Deuteronomy 24:13 - You shall certainly restore the pledge (security deposit) to him at sunset, so that he may sleep in his garment and bless you; and it will be credited to you as righteousness (right standing) before the Lord your God.
  • 2 Chronicles 19:6 - and he said to the judges, “Be careful what you do, for you do not judge for man, but for the Lord who is with you in the matter of judgment.
  • 2 Chronicles 19:7 - So now let the fear (reverent awe) of the Lord be on you [to keep you from making unjust decisions]; be careful in what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality, or acceptance of a bribe.”
  • Leviticus 19:15 - ‘You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor show a preference for the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
  • Deuteronomy 23:19 - “You shall not charge interest to your fellow Israelite—interest on money, food or anything that may be loaned for interest.
  • Deuteronomy 23:20 - You may charge interest to a foreigner, but to your fellow Israelite you shall not charge interest, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all that you undertake in the land which you are about to enter to possess.
  • Leviticus 25:36 - Do not charge him usurious interest, but fear your God [with profound reverence], so your countryman may [continue to] live among you.
  • Exodus 22:25 - “If you lend money to any one of My people with you who is poor, you shall not act as a creditor (professional moneylender) to him; you shall not charge him interest.
