  • Hebrews 6:4 - For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit,
  • Hebrews 6:5 - who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come—
  • Hebrews 6:6 - and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.
  • Hebrews 6:7 - When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God’s blessing.
  • Hebrews 6:8 - But if a field bears thorns and thistles, it is useless. The farmer will soon condemn that field and burn it.
  • Ezekiel 16:48 - As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, Sodom and her daughters were never as wicked as you and your daughters.
  • Ezekiel 16:49 - Sodom’s sins were pride, gluttony, and laziness, while the poor and needy suffered outside her door.
  • Ezekiel 16:50 - She was proud and committed detestable sins, so I wiped her out, as you have seen.
  • Ezekiel 16:51 - “Even Samaria did not commit half your sins. You have done far more detestable things than your sisters ever did. They seem righteous compared to you.
  • 2 Peter 2:9 - So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
  • Jude 1:7 - And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment.
  • Romans 2:5 - But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
  • Hebrews 10:26 - Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.
  • Hebrews 10:27 - There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.
  • Hebrews 10:28 - For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
  • Hebrews 10:29 - Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.
  • Hebrews 10:30 - For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The Lord will judge his own people.”
  • Hebrews 10:31 - It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
  • 2 Peter 2:6 - Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people.
  • Romans 2:16 - And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.

  • 2 Peter 3:7 - And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.
  • Luke 9:5 - And if a town refuses to welcome you, shake its dust from your feet as you leave to show that you have abandoned those people to their fate.”
  • Matthew 12:36 - And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
  • John 15:22 - They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin.
