Luke 21:17 - You will be hated by everyone because of my name,
Luke 21:18 - but not a hair of your head will be lost.

Luke 21:20 - “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that its desolation has come near.

Luke 21:23 - Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days, for there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

Luke 21:25 - “Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the waves.
Luke 21:26 - People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Luke 21:27 - Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28 - But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift your heads, because your redemption is near.”
Luke 21:29 - Then he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
Luke 21:30 - As soon as they put out leaves you can see for yourselves and recognize that summer is already near.
Luke 21:31 - In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.

Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Matthew 24:1 - As Jesus left and was going out of the temple, his disciples came up and called his attention to its buildings.
Matthew 24:2 - He replied to them, “Do you see all these things? Truly I tell you, not one stone will be left here on another that will not be thrown down.”
Matthew 24:3 - While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
Matthew 24:4 - Jesus replied to them, “Watch out that no one deceives you.
Matthew 24:5 - For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many.
Matthew 24:6 - You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:7 - For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Matthew 24:8 - All these events are the beginning of labor pains.
Matthew 24:9 - “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of my name.
Matthew 24:10 - Then many will fall away, betray one another, and hate one another.
Matthew 24:11 - Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

Matthew 24:20 - Pray that your escape may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.

Matthew 24:23 - “If anyone tells you then, ‘See, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Over here!’ do not believe it.
Matthew 24:24 - For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Luke 21:5 - As some were talking about the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and gifts dedicated to God, he said,
Luke 21:6 - “These things that you see — the days will come when not one stone will be left on another that will not be thrown down.”
Luke 21:7 - “Teacher,” they asked him, “so when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”
Luke 21:8 - Then he said, “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Don’t follow them.
Luke 21:9 - When you hear of wars and rebellions, don’t be alarmed. Indeed, it is necessary that these things take place first, but the end won’t come right away.”
Luke 21:10 - Then he told them, “Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Luke 21:11 - There will be violent earthquakes, and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven.
Luke 21:12 - But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you. They will hand you over to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors because of my name.
Luke 21:13 - This will give you an opportunity to bear witness.
Luke 21:14 - Therefore make up your minds not to prepare your defense ahead of time,
Luke 21:15 - for I will give you such words and a wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
Luke 21:16 - You will even be betrayed by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will kill some of you.
Luke 21:17 - You will be hated by everyone because of my name,
Luke 21:18 - but not a hair of your head will be lost.
Luke 21:19 - By your endurance, gain your lives.
Luke 21:20 - “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that its desolation has come near.
Luke 21:21 - Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains. Those inside the city must leave it, and those who are in the country must not enter it,
Luke 21:22 - because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all the things that are written.
Luke 21:23 - Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days, for there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
Luke 21:24 - They will be killed by the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Luke 21:25 - “Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the waves.
Luke 21:26 - People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Luke 21:27 - Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28 - But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift your heads, because your redemption is near.”
Luke 21:29 - Then he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
Luke 21:30 - As soon as they put out leaves you can see for yourselves and recognize that summer is already near.
Luke 21:31 - In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
Luke 21:32 - Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all things take place.
Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Luke 21:34 - “Be on your guard, so that your minds are not dulled from carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, or that day will come on you unexpectedly
Luke 21:35 - like a trap. For it will come on all who live on the face of the whole earth.
Luke 21:36 - But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:1 - As Jesus left and was going out of the temple, his disciples came up and called his attention to its buildings.
Matthew 24:2 - He replied to them, “Do you see all these things? Truly I tell you, not one stone will be left here on another that will not be thrown down.”
Matthew 24:3 - While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
Matthew 24:4 - Jesus replied to them, “Watch out that no one deceives you.
Matthew 24:5 - For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many.
Matthew 24:6 - You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:7 - For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Matthew 24:8 - All these events are the beginning of labor pains.
Matthew 24:9 - “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of my name.
Matthew 24:10 - Then many will fall away, betray one another, and hate one another.
Matthew 24:11 - Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
Matthew 24:12 - Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:13 - But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Matthew 24:14 - This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:15 - “So when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place” (let the reader understand),
Matthew 24:16 - “then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.
Matthew 24:17 - A man on the housetop must not come down to get things out of his house,
Matthew 24:18 - and a man in the field must not go back to get his coat.
Matthew 24:19 - Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!
Matthew 24:20 - Pray that your escape may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.
Matthew 24:21 - For at that time there will be great distress, the kind that hasn’t taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again.
Matthew 24:22 - Unless those days were cut short, no one would be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect.
Matthew 24:23 - “If anyone tells you then, ‘See, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Over here!’ do not believe it.
Matthew 24:24 - For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
Matthew 24:25 - Take note: I have told you in advance.
Matthew 24:26 - So if they tell you, ‘See, he’s in the wilderness! ’ don’t go out; or, ‘See, he’s in the storerooms! ’ do not believe it.
Matthew 24:27 - For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Matthew 24:28 - Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.
Matthew 24:29 - “Immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Matthew 24:30 - Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:31 - He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
Matthew 24:32 - “Learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.
Matthew 24:33 - In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize that he is near — at the door.
Matthew 24:34 - Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place.
Matthew 24:35 - Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Matthew 24:42 - Therefore be alert, since you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.
Matthew 24:43 - But know this: If the homeowner had known what time the thief was coming, he would have stayed alert and not let his house be broken into.
Matthew 24:44 - This is why you are also to be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Matthew 24:45 - “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?
Matthew 24:46 - Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing his job when he comes.
Matthew 24:47 - Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
Matthew 24:48 - But if that wicked servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delayed,’
Matthew 24:49 - and starts to beat his fellow servants, and eats and drinks with drunkards,
Matthew 24:50 - that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know.
Matthew 24:51 - He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Ezekiel 7:20 - He appointed his beautiful ornaments for majesty, but they made their detestable images from them, their abhorrent things. Therefore, I have made these into something filthy to them.
Ezekiel 7:21 - I will hand these things over to foreigners as plunder and to the wicked of the earth as spoil, and they will profane them.
Ezekiel 7:22 - I will turn my face from them as they profane my treasured place. Violent men will enter it and profane it.
Ezekiel 8:6 - He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing here — more detestable acts that the house of Israel is committing — so that I must depart from my sanctuary? You will see even more detestable acts.”
Ezekiel 10:19 - The cherubim lifted their wings and ascended from the earth right before my eyes; the wheels were beside them as they went. The glory of the God of Israel was above them, and it stopped at the entrance to the eastern gate of the Lord’s house.
Ezekiel 10:4 - Then the glory of the Lord rose from above the cherub to the threshold of the temple. The temple was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the Lord’s glory.
Malachi 3:1 - “See, I am going to send my messenger, and he will clear the way before me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to his temple, the Messenger of the covenant you delight in — see, he is coming,” says the Lord of Armies.
Malachi 3:2 - But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will be able to stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire and like launderer’s bleach.
