  • Luke 22:8 - Jesus sent Peter and John ahead and said, “Go and prepare the Passover meal, so we can eat it together.”
  • Luke 22:9 - “Where do you want us to prepare it?” they asked him.
  • Luke 22:10 - He replied, “As soon as you enter Jerusalem, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him. At the house he enters,
  • Luke 22:11 - say to the owner, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?’
  • Luke 22:12 - He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal.”
  • Luke 22:13 - They went off to the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there.
  • Mark 14:12 - On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go to prepare the Passover meal for you?”
  • Mark 14:13 - So Jesus sent two of them into Jerusalem with these instructions: “As you go into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him.
  • Mark 14:14 - At the house he enters, say to the owner, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?’

  • Exodus 12:6 - “Take special care of this chosen animal until the evening of the fourteenth day of this first month. Then the whole assembly of the community of Israel must slaughter their lamb or young goat at twilight.
  • Exodus 12:18 - The bread you eat must be made without yeast from the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month until the evening of the twenty-first day of that month.
  • Exodus 12:19 - During those seven days, there must be no trace of yeast in your homes. Anyone who eats anything made with yeast during this week will be cut off from the community of Israel. These regulations apply both to the foreigners living among you and to the native-born Israelites.
  • Exodus 12:20 - During those days you must not eat anything made with yeast. Wherever you live, eat only bread made without yeast.”
