  • Acts 4:13 - The leaders saw how bold Peter and John were. They also realized that Peter and John were ordinary men with no training. This surprised the leaders. They realized that these men had been with Jesus.
  • Acts 4:14 - The leaders could see the man who had been healed. He was standing there with them. So there was nothing they could say.
  • Jeremiah 1:9 - Then the Lord reached out his hand. He touched my mouth and spoke to me. He said, “I have put my words in your mouth.
  • Luke 21:12 - “But before all this, people will arrest you and treat you badly. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison. You will be brought to kings and governors. All this will happen to you because of my name.
  • Luke 21:13 - And so you will be witnesses about me.
  • Luke 21:14 - But make up your mind not to worry ahead of time about how to stand up for yourselves.
  • Luke 21:15 - I will give you words of wisdom. None of your enemies will be able to withstand them or prove them wrong.
  • Luke 21:16 - Even your parents, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends will hand you over to the authorities. The authorities will put some of you to death.
  • Luke 21:17 - Everyone will hate you because of me.
  • Jeremiah 1:7 - But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I’m too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to. You must say everything I command you to say.
  • 2 Timothy 4:17 - The Lord stood at my side. He gave me the strength to preach the whole message. Then all the Gentiles heard it. I was saved from the lion’s mouth.
  • Exodus 4:15 - Speak to him. Tell him what to say. I will help both of you speak. I will teach you what to do.
  • Matthew 6:31 - So don’t worry. Don’t say, ‘What will we eat?’ Or, ‘What will we drink?’ Or, ‘What will we wear?’
  • Daniel 3:16 - Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him. They said, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we don’t need to talk about this anymore.
  • Daniel 3:17 - We might be thrown into the blazing furnace. But the God we serve is able to bring us out of it alive. He will save us from your power.
  • Daniel 3:18 - But we want you to know this, Your Majesty. Even if we knew that our God wouldn’t save us, we still wouldn’t serve your gods. We wouldn’t worship the gold statue you set up.”
  • Matthew 6:25 - “I tell you, do not worry. Don’t worry about your life and what you will eat or drink. And don’t worry about your body and what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than eating? Aren’t there more important things for the body than clothes?
  • Luke 12:11 - “You will be brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities. But do not worry about how to stand up for yourselves or what to say.
  • Exodus 4:12 - Now go. I will help you speak. I will teach you what to say.”
  • Mark 13:11 - You will be arrested and brought to trial. But don’t worry ahead of time about what you will say. Just say what God brings to your mind at the time. It is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
  • Mark 13:12 - “Brothers will hand over brothers to be killed. Fathers will hand over their children. Children will rise up against their parents and have them put to death.
  • Mark 13:13 - Everyone will hate you because of me. But the one who remains strong in the faith will be saved.
