Matthew 24:31 - He will send his angels with a loud trumpet call. They will gather his chosen people from all four directions. They will bring them from one end of the heavens to the other.
Luke 12:20 - “But God said to him, ‘You foolish man! Tonight I will take your life away from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’
2 Kings 9:34 - Jehu went inside. He ate and drank. “The Lord put a curse on that woman,” he said. “Take proper care of her body. Bury her. After all, she was a king’s daughter.”

Psalm 91:11 - The Lord will command his angels to take good care of you.
Psalm 91:12 - They will lift you up in their hands. Then you won’t trip over a stone.
John 13:23 - The disciple Jesus loved was next to him at the table.
Psalm 49:6 - They trust in their wealth. They brag about how rich they are.
Psalm 49:7 - No one can pay for the life of anyone else. No one can give God what that would cost.
Psalm 49:8 - The price for a life is very high. No payment is ever enough.
Psalm 49:9 - No one can pay enough to live forever and not rot in the grave.
Psalm 49:10 - Everyone can see that even wise people die. People who are foolish and who have no sense also pass away. All of them leave their wealth to others.
Psalm 49:11 - Their tombs will remain their houses forever. Their graves will be their homes for all time to come. Naming lands after themselves won’t help either.
Psalm 49:12 - Even though people may be very rich, they don’t live on and on. They are like the animals. They die.
James 1:11 - The sun rises. Its burning heat dries up the plants. Their blossoms fall. Their beauty is destroyed. In the same way, rich people will fade away. They fade away even as they go about their business.
Mark 8:36 - What good is it if someone gains the whole world but loses their soul?
Revelation 14:13 - Then I heard a voice from heaven. “Write this,” it said. “Blessed are the dead who die as believers in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Holy Spirit. “They will rest from their labor. What they have done will not be forgotten.”
Proverbs 14:32 - When trouble comes, sinners are brought down. But godly people seek safety in God even as they die.
Psalm 49:16 - Don’t get too upset when other people become rich. Don’t be troubled when they become more and more wealthy.
Psalm 49:17 - They won’t take anything with them when they die. Their riches won’t go down to the grave with them.
Psalm 49:18 - While they lived, they believed they were blessed. People praised them when things were going well for them.
Psalm 49:19 - But they will die, like their people of long ago. They will never again see the light of life.
1 Peter 2:24 - “He himself carried our sins” in his body on the cross. ( Isaiah 53:5 ) He did it so that we would die as far as sins are concerned. Then we would lead godly lives. “His wounds have healed you.” ( Isaiah 53:5 )
