Amos 6:3 - You are trying to avoid the time when trouble will come. But you are only bringing closer the Assyrian rule of terror.

James 5:5 - You have lived an easy life on earth. You have given yourselves everything you wanted. You have made yourselves fat like cattle that will soon be butchered.
Psalm 52:5 - So God will destroy you forever. He will grab you and pluck you from your tent. He will remove you from this life.
