2 Kings 6:31 - “May God strike me and even kill me if I don’t separate Elisha’s head from his shoulders this very day,” the king vowed.
2 Kings 6:32 - Elisha was sitting in his house with the elders of Israel when the king sent a messenger to summon him. But before the messenger arrived, Elisha said to the elders, “A murderer has sent a man to cut off my head. When he arrives, shut the door and keep him out. We will soon hear his master’s steps following him.”
Luke 20:2 - They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?”

Jeremiah 37:7 - “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: The king of Judah sent you to ask me what is going to happen. Tell him, ‘Pharaoh’s army is about to return to Egypt, though he came here to help you.
Jeremiah 37:8 - Then the Babylonians will come back and capture this city and burn it to the ground.’
Jeremiah 37:9 - “This is what the Lord says: Do not fool yourselves into thinking that the Babylonians are gone for good. They aren’t!
Jeremiah 37:10 - Even if you were to destroy the entire Babylonian army, leaving only a handful of wounded survivors, they would still stagger from their tents and burn this city to the ground!”
2 Chronicles 28:22 - Even during this time of trouble, King Ahaz continued to reject the Lord.
Jeremiah 32:28 - Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I will hand this city over to the Babylonians and to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and he will capture it.
Jeremiah 32:29 - The Babylonians outside the walls will come in and set fire to the city. They will burn down all these houses where the people provoked my anger by burning incense to Baal on the rooftops and by pouring out liquid offerings to other gods.

Jeremiah 26:9 - “What right do you have to prophesy in the Lord’s name that this Temple will be destroyed like Shiloh? What do you mean, saying that Jerusalem will be destroyed and left with no inhabitants?” And all the people threatened him as he stood in front of the Temple.
Jeremiah 21:4 - ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I will make your weapons useless against the king of Babylon and the Babylonians who are outside your walls attacking you. In fact, I will bring your enemies right into the heart of this city.
Jeremiah 21:5 - I myself will fight against you with a strong hand and a powerful arm, for I am very angry. You have made me furious!
Jeremiah 21:6 - I will send a terrible plague upon this city, and both people and animals will die.
Jeremiah 21:7 - And after all that, says the Lord, I will hand over King Zedekiah, his staff, and everyone else in the city who survives the disease, war, and famine. I will hand them over to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and to their other enemies. He will slaughter them and show them no mercy, pity, or compassion.’
Jeremiah 34:2 - “Go to King Zedekiah of Judah, and tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I am about to hand this city over to the king of Babylon, and he will burn it down.
Jeremiah 34:3 - You will not escape his grasp but will be captured and taken to meet the king of Babylon face to face. Then you will be exiled to Babylon.
