Jeremiah 33:24 - “Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say, ‘The Lord has rejected the two families he had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.
Jeremiah 33:25 - This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,
Jeremiah 33:26 - then I might also reject the descendants of Jacob and of my servant David. That is, I would not take rulers from his descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But in fact, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”
1 Chronicles 28:9 - “As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. Ezekiel 36:33 - “‘This is what the Lord God says: On the day I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins will be rebuilt.
Ezekiel 36:34 - The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of everyone who passes by.
Ezekiel 36:35 - They will say, “This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The cities that were once ruined, desolate, and demolished are now fortified and inhabited.”
Ezekiel 36:36 - Then the nations that remain around you will know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt what was demolished and have replanted what was desolate. I, the Lord, have spoken and I will do it.

Jeremiah 23:5 - “Look, the days are coming” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “when I will raise up a Righteous Branch for David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.
Jeremiah 23:6 - In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is the name he will be called: The Lord Is Our Righteousness.
Jeremiah 23:7 - “Look, the days are coming” — the Lord’s declaration — “when it will no longer be said, ‘As the Lord lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’
Jeremiah 23:8 - but, ‘As the Lord lives, who brought and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other countries where I had banished them.’ They will dwell once more in their own land.”
Isaiah 45:19 - I have not spoken in secret, somewhere in a land of darkness. I did not say to the descendants of Jacob: Seek me in a wasteland. I am the Lord, who speaks righteously, who declares what is right.
Ezekiel 34:1 - The word of the Lord came to me:
Ezekiel 34:2 - “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have been feeding themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed their flock?
Ezekiel 34:3 - You eat the fat, wear the wool, and butcher the fattened animals, but you do not tend the flock.
Ezekiel 34:4 - You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost. Instead, you have ruled them with violence and cruelty.
Ezekiel 34:5 - They were scattered for lack of a shepherd; they became food for all the wild animals when they were scattered.
Ezekiel 34:6 - My flock went astray on all the mountains and every high hill. My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and there was no one searching or seeking for them.
Ezekiel 34:7 - “‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord.
Ezekiel 34:8 - As I live — this is the declaration of the Lord God — because my flock, lacking a shepherd, has become prey and food for every wild animal, and because my shepherds do not search for my flock, and because the shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,
Ezekiel 34:9 - therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord!
Ezekiel 34:10 - “‘This is what the Lord God says: Look, I am against the shepherds. I will demand my flock from them and prevent them from shepherding the flock. The shepherds will no longer feed themselves, for I will rescue my flock from their mouths so that they will not be food for them.
Ezekiel 34:11 - “‘For this is what the Lord God says: See, I myself will search for my flock and look for them.
Ezekiel 34:12 - As a shepherd looks for his sheep on the day he is among his scattered flock, so I will look for my flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and total darkness.
Ezekiel 34:13 - I will bring them out from the peoples, gather them from the countries, and bring them to their own soil. I will shepherd them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the land.
Ezekiel 34:14 - I will tend them in good pasture, and their grazing place will be on Israel’s lofty mountains. There they will lie down in a good grazing place; they will feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
Ezekiel 34:15 - I will tend my flock and let them lie down. This is the declaration of the Lord God.
Ezekiel 34:16 - I will seek the lost, bring back the strays, bandage the injured, and strengthen the weak, but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will shepherd them with justice.
Ezekiel 34:17 - “‘As for you, my flock, the Lord God says this: Look, I am going to judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and goats.
Ezekiel 34:18 - Isn’t it enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of the pasture with your feet? Or isn’t it enough that you drink the clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?
Ezekiel 34:19 - Yet my flock has to feed on what your feet have trampled, and drink what your feet have muddied.
Ezekiel 34:20 - “‘Therefore, this is what the Lord God says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
Ezekiel 34:21 - Since you have pushed with flank and shoulder and butted all the weak ones with your horns until you scattered them all over,
Ezekiel 34:22 - I will save my flock. They will no longer be prey, and I will judge between one sheep and another.
Ezekiel 34:23 - I will establish over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.
Ezekiel 34:24 - I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David will be a prince among them. I, the Lord, have spoken.
Ezekiel 34:25 - “‘I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate dangerous creatures from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.
Ezekiel 34:26 - I will make them and the area around my hill a blessing: I will send down showers in their season; they will be showers of blessing.
Ezekiel 34:27 - The trees of the field will yield their fruit, and the land will yield its produce; my flock will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the power of those who enslave them.
Ezekiel 34:28 - They will no longer be prey for the nations, and the wild creatures of the earth will not consume them. They will live securely, and no one will frighten them.
Ezekiel 34:29 - I will establish for them a place renowned for its agriculture, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land. They will no longer endure the insults of the nations.
Ezekiel 34:30 - Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people. This is the declaration of the Lord God.
Ezekiel 34:31 - You are my flock, the human flock of my pasture, and I am your God. This is the declaration of the Lord God.’”
Micah 4:12 - But they do not know the Lord’s intentions or understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
Psalms 126:1 - When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.
Jeremiah 33:7 - I will restore the fortunes of Judah and of Israel and will rebuild them as in former times.
Jeremiah 33:8 - I will purify them from all the iniquity they have committed against me, and I will forgive all the iniquities they have committed against me, rebelling against me.
Jeremiah 33:9 - This city will bear on my behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the prosperity I will give them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them.
Jeremiah 33:10 - “This is what the Lord says: In this place, which you say is a ruin, without people or animals — that is, in Judah’s cities and Jerusalem’s streets that are a desolation without people, without inhabitants, and without animals — there will be heard again
Jeremiah 33:11 - a sound of joy and gladness, the voice of the groom and the bride, and the voice of those saying, Give thanks to the Lord of Armies, for the Lord is good; his faithful love endures forever as they bring thanksgiving sacrifices to the temple of the Lord. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as in former times, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 33:12 - “This is what the Lord of Armies says: In this desolate place — without people or animals — and in all its cities there will once more be a grazing land where shepherds may rest flocks.
Jeremiah 33:13 - The flocks will again pass under the hands of the one who counts them in the cities of the hill country, the cities of the Judean foothills, the cities of the Negev, the land of Benjamin — the areas around Jerusalem and in Judah’s cities, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 33:14 - “Look, the days are coming” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “when I will fulfill the good promise that I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
Jeremiah 33:15 - In those days and at that time I will cause a Righteous Branch to sprout up for David, and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land.
Jeremiah 33:16 - In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely, and this is what she will be named: The Lord Is Our Righteousness.
Jeremiah 33:17 - “For this is what the Lord says: David will never fail to have a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel.
Jeremiah 33:18 - The Levitical priests will never fail to have a man always before me to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices.”
Jeremiah 33:19 - The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 33:20 - “This is what the Lord says: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night so that day and night cease to come at their regular time,
Jeremiah 33:21 - then also my covenant with my servant David may be broken. If that could happen, then he would not have a son reigning on his throne and the Levitical priests would not be my ministers.
Jeremiah 33:22 - Even as the stars of heaven cannot be counted, and the sand of the sea cannot be measured, so too I will make innumerable the descendants of my servant David and the Levites who minister to me.”
Jeremiah 33:23 - The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 33:24 - “Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say, ‘The Lord has rejected the two families he had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.
Jeremiah 33:25 - This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,
Jeremiah 33:26 - then I might also reject the descendants of Jacob and of my servant David. That is, I would not take rulers from his descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But in fact, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”
1 Chronicles 28:9 - “As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.
Jeremiah 46:27 - But you, my servant Jacob, do not be afraid, and do not be discouraged, Israel, for without fail I will save you from far away, and your descendants from the land of their captivity! Jacob will return and have calm and quiet with no one to frighten him.
Jeremiah 46:28 - And you, my servant Jacob, do not be afraid — this is the Lord’s declaration — for I will be with you. I will bring destruction on all the nations where I have banished you, but I will not bring destruction on you. I will discipline you with justice, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.
Jeremiah 24:5 - “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Like these good figs, so I regard as good the exiles from Judah I sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans.
Jeremiah 24:6 - I will keep my eyes on them for their good and will return them to this land. I will build them up and not demolish them; I will plant them and not uproot them.
Jeremiah 24:7 - I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God because they will return to me with all their heart.
Amos 9:14 - I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel. They will rebuild and occupy ruined cities, plant vineyards and drink their wine, make gardens and eat their produce.
Deuteronomy 4:7 - For what great nation is there that has a god near to it as the Lord our God is to us whenever we call to him?
Jeremiah 31:8 - Watch! I am going to bring them from the northern land. I will gather them from remote regions of the earth — the blind and the lame will be with them, along with those who are pregnant and those about to give birth. They will return here as a great assembly!
Jeremiah 31:9 - They will come weeping, but I will bring them back with consolation. I will lead them to wadis filled with water, by a smooth way where they will not stumble, for I am Israel’s Father, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
Jeremiah 31:10 - Nations, hear the word of the Lord, and tell it among the far off coasts and islands! Say, “The one who scattered Israel will gather him. He will watch over him as a shepherd guards his flock,
Jeremiah 31:11 - for the Lord has ransomed Jacob and redeemed him from the power of one stronger than he.”
Jeremiah 31:12 - They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will be radiant with joy because of the Lord’s goodness, because of the grain, the new wine, the fresh oil, and because of the young of the flocks and herds. Their life will be like an irrigated garden, and they will no longer grow weak from hunger.
Jeremiah 31:13 - Then the young women will rejoice with dancing, while young and old men rejoice together. I will turn their mourning into joy, give them consolation, and bring happiness out of grief.
Jeremiah 31:14 - I will refresh the priests with an abundance, and my people will be satisfied with my goodness. This is the Lord’s declaration.
Psalms 32:6 - Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.
Jeremiah 50:33 - This is what the Lord of Armies says: Israelites and Judeans alike have been oppressed. All their captors hold them fast; they refuse to release them.
Jeremiah 50:34 - Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of Armies is his name. He will fervently champion their cause so that he might bring rest to the earth but turmoil to those who live in Babylon.
Psalms 126:4 - Restore our fortunes, Lord, like watercourses in the Negev.
Ezekiel 36:1 - “Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, ‘Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord.
Ezekiel 36:2 - This is what the Lord God says: Because the enemy has said about you, “Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,”’
Ezekiel 36:3 - therefore, prophesy and say, ‘This is what the Lord God says: Because they have made you desolate and have trampled you from every side, so that you became a possession for the rest of the nations and an object of people’s gossip and slander,
Ezekiel 36:4 - therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. This is what the Lord God says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become plunder and a mockery to the rest of the nations all around.
Ezekiel 36:5 - “‘This is what the Lord God says: Certainly in my burning zeal I speak against the rest of the nations and all of Edom, who took my land as their own possession with wholehearted rejoicing and utter contempt so that its pastureland became plunder.
Ezekiel 36:6 - Therefore, prophesy concerning Israel’s land, and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: This is what the Lord God says: Look, I speak in my burning zeal because you have endured the insults of the nations.
Ezekiel 36:7 - Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: I swear that the nations all around you will endure their own insults.
Ezekiel 36:8 - “‘You, mountains of Israel, will produce your branches and bear your fruit for my people Israel, since their arrival is near.
Ezekiel 36:9 - Look! I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown.
Ezekiel 36:10 - I will fill you with people, with the whole house of Israel in its entirety. The cities will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
Ezekiel 36:11 - I will fill you with people and animals, and they will increase and be fruitful. I will make you inhabited as you once were and make you better off than you were before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
Ezekiel 36:12 - I will cause people, my people Israel, to walk on you; they will possess you, and you will be their inheritance. You will no longer deprive them of their children.
Ezekiel 36:13 - “‘This is what the Lord God says: Because some are saying to you, “You devour people and deprive your nation of children,”
Ezekiel 36:14 - therefore, you will no longer devour people and deprive your nation of children. This is the declaration of the Lord God.
Ezekiel 36:15 - I will no longer allow the insults of the nations to be heard against you, and you will not have to endure the reproach of the peoples anymore; you will no longer cause your nation to stumble. This is the declaration of the Lord God.’”
Ezekiel 36:16 - The word of the Lord came to me:
Ezekiel 36:17 - “Son of man, while the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it with their conduct and actions. Their behavior before me was like menstrual impurity.
Ezekiel 36:18 - So I poured out my wrath on them because of the blood they had shed on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.
Ezekiel 36:19 - I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered among the countries. I judged them according to their conduct and actions.
Ezekiel 36:20 - When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, because it was said about them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, yet they had to leave his land in exile.’
Ezekiel 36:21 - Then I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they went.
Ezekiel 36:22 - “Therefore, say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Lord God says: It is not for your sake that I will act, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you profaned among the nations where you went.
Ezekiel 36:23 - I will honor the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations — the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the Lord — this is the declaration of the Lord God — when I demonstrate my holiness through you in their sight.
Ezekiel 36:24 - “‘For I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Ezekiel 36:25 - I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.
Ezekiel 36:26 - I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:27 - I will place my Spirit within you and cause you to follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances.
Ezekiel 36:28 - You will live in the land that I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.
Ezekiel 36:29 - I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will summon the grain and make it plentiful, and I will not bring famine on you.
Ezekiel 36:30 - I will also make the fruit of the trees and the produce of the field plentiful, so that you will no longer experience reproach among the nations on account of famine.
Ezekiel 36:31 - “‘You will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and detestable practices.
Ezekiel 36:32 - It is not for your sake that I will act — this is the declaration of the Lord God — let this be known to you. Be ashamed and humiliated because of your ways, house of Israel!
Ezekiel 36:33 - “‘This is what the Lord God says: On the day I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins will be rebuilt.
Ezekiel 36:34 - The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of everyone who passes by.
Ezekiel 36:35 - They will say, “This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The cities that were once ruined, desolate, and demolished are now fortified and inhabited.”
Ezekiel 36:36 - Then the nations that remain around you will know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt what was demolished and have replanted what was desolate. I, the Lord, have spoken and I will do it.
Ezekiel 36:37 - “‘This is what the Lord God says: I will respond to the house of Israel and do this for them: I will multiply them in number like a flock.
Ezekiel 36:38 - So the ruined cities will be filled with a flock of people, just as Jerusalem is filled with a flock of sheep for sacrifice during its appointed festivals. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”
Jeremiah 30:3 - for look, the days are coming” — this is the Lord’s declaration — “when I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel and Judah,” says the Lord. “I will restore them to the land I gave to their ancestors and they will possess it.”
