Levítico 26:1 - “Não façam ídolos, nem imagens, nem colunas sagradas para vocês, e não coloquem nenhuma pedra esculpida em sua terra para curvar-se diante dela. Eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de vocês.
Deuteronômio 31:29 - Pois sei que depois da minha morte vocês com certeza se corromperão e se afastarão do caminho que ordenei a vocês. Nos dias futuros a desgraça cairá sobre vocês, porque vocês farão o que o Senhor reprova e o provocarão à ira por aquilo que as mãos de vocês terão feito”.

Deuteronômio 17:6 - Pelo depoimento de duas ou três testemunhas tal pessoa poderá ser morta, mas ninguém será morto pelo depoimento de uma única testemunha.
Deuteronômio 17:7 - As mãos das testemunhas serão as primeiras a proceder à sua execução, e depois as mãos de todo o povo. Eliminem o mal do meio de vocês.
Salmos 78:60 - abandonou o tabernáculo de Siló, a tenda onde habitava entre os homens.
Salmos 78:61 - Entregou o símbolo do seu poder ao cativeiro e o seu esplendor nas mãos do adversário.
Salmos 78:62 - Deixou que o seu povo fosse morto à espada, pois enfureceu-se com a sua herança.
Juízes 17:5 - Ora, esse homem, Mica, possuía um santuário, fez um manto sacerdotal e alguns ídolos da família e pôs um dos seus filhos como seu sacerdote.
Juízes 17:3 - Quando ele devolveu os treze quilos de prata à mãe, ela disse: “Consagro solenemente a minha prata ao Senhor para que o meu filho faça uma imagem esculpida e um ídolo de metal. Eu a devolvo a você”.
1 Samuel 4:2 - Os filisteus dispuseram suas forças em linha para enfrentar Israel, e, intensificando-se o combate, Israel foi derrotado pelos filisteus, que mataram cerca de quatro mil deles no campo de batalha.
1 Samuel 4:3 - Quando os soldados voltaram ao acampamento, as autoridades de Israel perguntaram: “Por que o Senhor deixou que os filisteus nos derrotassem?” E acrescentaram: “Vamos a Siló buscar a arca da aliança do Senhor, para que ele vá conosco e nos salve das mãos de nossos inimigos”.

Juízes 13:1 - Os israelitas voltaram a fazer o que o Senhor reprova, e por isso o Senhor os entregou nas mãos dos filisteus durante quarenta anos.
