2 Kings 24:12 - Jehoiachin, the king of Judah, handed himself over to Nebuchadnezzar. Jehoiachin’s mother did the same thing. And so did all his attendants, nobles and officials. The king of Babylon took Jehoiachin away as his prisoner. It was in the eighth year of Nebuchadnezzar’s rule.
2 Kings 24:13 - Nebuchadnezzar removed the treasures from the Lord’s temple. He also removed the treasures from the royal palace. He cut up the gold objects that Solomon, the king of Israel, had made for the temple. That’s what the Lord had announced would happen.
2 Kings 24:14 - Nebuchadnezzar took all the people of Jerusalem to the land of Babylon as prisoners. That included all the officers and fighting men. It also included all the skilled workers. The total number of prisoners was 10,000. Only the poorest people were left in the land.
2 Kings 24:15 - Nebuchadnezzar took Jehoiachin to Babylon as his prisoner. He also took the king’s mother from Jerusalem to Babylon. And he took Jehoiachin’s wives, his officials and the most important people of the land.
2 Kings 24:16 - The king also forced the whole army of 7,000 soldiers to go away to the land of Babylon. Those men were strong and able to go to war. And the king forced 1,000 skilled workers to go to Babylon.
Jeremiah 31:10 - “Listen to my message, you nations. Announce it on shores far away. Say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather them. He will watch over his flock like a shepherd.’
Psalm 91:9 - Suppose you say, “The Lord is the one who keeps me safe.” Suppose you let the Most High God be like a home to you.
Psalm 91:10 - Then no harm will come to you. No terrible plague will come near your tent.
Psalm 91:11 - The Lord will command his angels to take good care of you.

Psalm 91:15 - He will call out to me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in times of trouble. I will save him and honor him.
Psalm 91:16 - I will give him a long and full life. I will save him.”
Proverbs 18:10 - The name of the Lord is like a strong tower. Godly people run to it and are safe.
Jeremiah 30:11 - I am with you. I will save you,’ ” announces the Lord. “ ‘I will completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you. But I will not completely destroy you. I will correct you. But I will be fair. I will not let you go without any punishment.’ ”
Psalm 91:1 - Whoever rests in the shadow of the Most High God will be kept safe by the Mighty One.
Jeremiah 24:5 - “I am the Lord, the God of Israel. I say, ‘I consider the people who were forced to leave Judah to be like these good figs. I sent them away from this place. I forced them to go to Babylon.
Jeremiah 24:6 - My eyes will watch over them. I will be good to them. And I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up. I will not tear them down. I will plant them. I will not pull them up by the roots.
Isaiah 4:5 - Then the Lord will create over Jerusalem a cloud of smoke by day. He will also create a glow of flaming fire at night. The cloud and fire will appear over all of Mount Zion. They will also appear over the people who gather together there. The Lord’s glory will be like a tent over everything.
Psalm 44:11 - You handed us over to be eaten up like sheep. You have scattered us among the nations.
Leviticus 26:44 - But even after all that, I will not say no to you or turn away from you. I will not destroy you completely in the land of your enemies. I will not break my covenant with you. I am the Lord your God.
Jeremiah 26:11 - Then the priests and prophets spoke to the officials and all the people. They said, “This man should be sentenced to death. He has prophesied against this city. You have heard it with your own ears!”
Jeremiah 42:11 - Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon. You are afraid of him now. Do not be,’ announces the Lord. ‘I am with you. I will keep you safe. I will save you from his power.
Deuteronomy 30:3 - When all that happens, the Lord your God will bless you with great success again. He will be very kind to you. He’ll bring you back from all the nations where he scattered you.
Deuteronomy 30:4 - Suppose you have been forced to go away to the farthest land on earth. The Lord your God will bring you back even from there.
Jeremiah 26:7 - Jeremiah spoke these words in the Lord’s house. The priests, the prophets and all the people heard him.
Psalm 31:20 - They are safe because you are with them. You hide them from the evil plans of their enemies. In your house you keep them safe from those who bring charges against them.

Isaiah 8:14 - Then the Lord will be a holy place of safety for you. But that’s not true for many people in Israel and Judah. He will be a stone that causes them to trip. He will be a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.
