Leviticus 17:7 - They must no longer offer their sacrifices to the goat-demons that they have prostituted themselves with. This will be a permanent statute for them throughout their generations.

Exodus 34:12 - Be careful not to make a treaty with the inhabitants of the land that you are going to enter; otherwise, they will become a snare among you.
1 Corinthians 8:7 - However, not everyone has this knowledge. Some have been so used to idolatry up until now that when they eat food sacrificed to an idol, their conscience, being weak, is defiled.

Psalms 106:28 - They aligned themselves with Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods.
Deuteronomy 31:16 - The Lord said to Moses, “You are about to rest with your ancestors, and these people will soon prostitute themselves with the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will abandon me and break the covenant I have made with them.
1 Corinthians 8:4 - About eating food sacrificed to idols, then, we know that “an idol is nothing in the world,” and that “there is no God but one.”
Numbers 25:2 - The women invited them to the sacrifices for their gods, and the people ate and bowed in worship to their gods.
Judges 2:17 - but they did not listen to their judges. Instead, they prostituted themselves with other gods, bowing down to them. They quickly turned from the way of their ancestors, who had walked in obedience to the Lord’s commands. They did not do as their ancestors did.
