Haggai 2:3 - ‘Did any of you who are here see how beautiful this temple used to be? How does it look to you now? It doesn’t look so good, does it?
Psalm 9:6 - My enemies have been destroyed forever. You have leveled their cities to the ground. Even the memory of them is gone.
1 Chronicles 4:43 - They killed the rest of the Amalekites who had escaped. And they still live there to this day.
Deuteronomy 31:9 - Moses wrote down this law. He gave it to the priests, who are sons of Levi. They carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord. He also gave the law to all the elders of Israel.
Deuteronomy 25:17 - Remember what the Amalekites did to you on your way out of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 25:18 - You were tired and worn out. They met up with you on your journey. They attacked everyone who was lagging behind. They didn’t have any respect for God.
Deuteronomy 25:19 - The Lord your God will give you peace and rest from all the enemies around you. He’ll do this in the land he’s giving you to take over as your very own. No one on earth will mention the Amalekites ever again because you will destroy them. Do not forget!
1 Samuel 15:7 - Saul attacked the Amalekites. He struck them down all the way from Havilah to Shur. Shur was near the eastern border of Egypt.
1 Samuel 15:8 - Saul captured Agag, the king of the Amalekites. But he and his men totally destroyed with their swords all Agag’s people.
Job 19:23 - “I wish my words were written down! I wish they were written in a book!
2 Samuel 1:8 - “He asked me, ‘Who are you?’ “ ‘An Amalekite,’ I answered.
2 Samuel 1:9 - “Then he said to me, ‘Stand here by me and kill me! I’m close to death, but I’m still alive.’

2 Samuel 1:12 - All of them were filled with sadness. They mourned over the whole nation of Israel. They didn’t eat anything until evening. That’s because Saul and Jonathan and the Lord’s army had been killed by swords.
2 Samuel 1:13 - David spoke to the young man who had brought him the report. He asked, “Where are you from?” “I’m the son of an outsider, an Amalekite,” he answered.
2 Samuel 1:14 - David asked him, “Why weren’t you afraid to lift your hand to kill the Lord’s anointed king?”
2 Samuel 1:15 - Then David called for one of his men. He said, “Go! Strike him down!” So he struck the man down, and the man died.
2 Samuel 1:16 - That’s because David had said to him, “Anything that happens to you will be your own fault. What your own mouth has spoken is a witness against you. You said, ‘I killed the Lord’s anointed king.’ ”
Ezra 9:14 - Suppose we don’t obey your commands again. And suppose we continue to marry people who commit sins that you hate. If we do, you will be so angry with us that you will destroy us. You won’t leave us even a few people. You won’t leave anyone alive.
Exodus 24:4 - Then Moses wrote down everything the Lord had said. Moses got up early the next morning. He built an altar at the foot of the mountain. He set up 12 stone pillars. They stood for the 12 tribes of Israel.
Joshua 4:7 - Tell them that the Lord cut off the flow of water in the Jordan River. Tell them its water stopped flowing when the ark of the covenant of the Lord went across. The stones will always remind the Israelites of what happened there.”
Proverbs 10:7 - The names of those who do right are used in blessings. But the names of those who do wrong will rot.
Numbers 33:2 - The Lord commanded Moses to record their journey. Here are the places where they camped.
2 Samuel 1:1 - After Saul died, David returned to Ziklag. He had won the battle over the Amalekites. He stayed in Ziklag for two days.
1 Samuel 15:18 - He sent you to do something for him. He said, ‘Go and completely destroy the Amalekites. Go and destroy those evil people. Fight against them until you have wiped them out.’
1 Samuel 15:2 - The Lord who rules over all says, ‘I will punish the Amalekites because of what they did to Israel. As the Israelites came up from Egypt, the Amalekites attacked them.
1 Samuel 15:3 - Now go. Attack the Amalekites. Completely destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare the Amalekites. Put the men and women to death. Put the children and babies to death. Also kill the cattle, sheep, camels and donkeys.’ ”
Exodus 12:14 - “Always remember this day. You and your children after you must celebrate this day as a feast to honor the Lord. You must do this for all time to come. It is a law that will last forever.
Exodus 13:9 - When you celebrate this holy day, it will be like a mark on your hand. It will be like a reminder on your forehead. This law of the Lord must be on your lips. The Lord used his mighty hand to bring you out of Egypt.
2 Samuel 8:12 - Those nations were Edom, Moab, Ammon, Philistia and Amalek. He also set apart for the Lord what he had taken from Hadadezer, the son of Rehob. Hadadezer was king of Zobah.
Numbers 24:20 - Then Balaam saw the Amalekites. He spoke the message he had received from God. He said, “Amalek was the first nation to attack Israel. But their end will be total destruction.”
1 Samuel 30:1 - On the third day David and his men arrived in Ziklag. The Amalekites had attacked the people of the Negev Desert. They had also attacked Ziklag and burned it.
1 Samuel 30:17 - David fought against them from sunset until the evening of the next day. None of them escaped except 400 young men. They rode off on camels and got away.
Exodus 34:27 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down the words I have spoken. I have made a covenant with you and with Israel in keeping with those words.”
