Josué 2:22 - Los hombres se dirigieron a las montañas y permanecieron allí tres días, hasta que sus perseguidores regresaron a la ciudad. Los habían buscado por todas partes, pero sin éxito.
Josué 2:23 - Los dos hombres emprendieron el regreso; bajando de las montañas, vadearon el río y llegaron adonde estaba Josué hijo de Nun. Allí le relataron todo lo que les había sucedido:
Josué 2:24 - «El Señor ha entregado todo el país en nuestras manos. ¡Todos sus habitantes tiemblan de miedo ante nosotros!»
