  • Acts 2:41 - Those who accepted his message were baptized. About 3,000 people joined the believers that day.
  • Acts 2:42 - The believers studied what the apostles taught. They shared their lives together. They ate and prayed together.
  • Song of Songs 1:7 - “King Solomon, I love you. So tell me where you take care of your flock. Tell me where you rest your sheep at noon. Why should I have to act like a prostitute near the flocks of your friends?”
  • Song of Songs 1:8 - “You are the most beautiful woman of all. Don’t you know where to find the king? Follow the tracks the sheep make. Take care of your young goats near the tents of the shepherds.”
  • Acts 4:23 - Peter and John were allowed to leave. They went back to their own people. They reported everything the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
  • Acts 21:28 - “Fellow Israelites, help us!” they shouted. “This is the man who teaches everyone in all places against our people. He speaks against our law and against this holy place. Besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple. He has made this holy place ‘unclean.’ ”
  • Acts 15:32 - Judas and Silas were prophets. They said many things to give strength and hope to the believers.
  • Acts 19:10 - This went on for two years. So all the Jews and Greeks who lived in Asia Minor heard the word of the Lord.
  • Acts 18:4 - Every Sabbath day he went to the synagogue. He was trying to get both Jews and Greeks to believe in the Lord.
  • Acts 16:3 - Paul wanted to take him along on the journey. So he circumcised Timothy because of the Jews who lived in that area. They all knew that Timothy’s father was a Greek.
  • Zechariah 2:11 - ‘At that time many nations will join themselves to me. And they will become my people. I will live among you,’ says the Lord. Then you will know that the Lord who rules over all has sent me to you.
  • Acts 15:40 - But Paul chose Silas. The believers asked the Lord to give his grace to Paul and Silas as they went.
  • Acts 28:24 - Some believed what he said, and others did not.
  • Acts 17:34 - Some of the people became followers of Paul and believed in Jesus. Dionysius was one of them. He was a member of the Areopagus. A woman named Damaris also became a believer. And so did some others.
  • Proverbs 13:20 - Walk with wise people and become wise. A companion of foolish people suffers harm.
  • 2 Corinthians 8:5 - They did more than we expected. First they gave themselves to the Lord. Then they gave themselves to us because that was what God wanted.
  • Acts 5:12 - The apostles did many signs and wonders among the people. All the believers used to meet together at Solomon’s Porch.
  • Acts 5:13 - No outsider dared to join them. But the people thought highly of them.
  • Acts 5:14 - More and more men and women believed in the Lord. They joined the other believers.
  • Acts 15:27 - So we are sending Judas and Silas with them. What they say will agree with this letter.
  • Song of Songs 6:1 - “You are the most beautiful woman of all. Where has the one who loves you gone? Which way did he turn? We’ll help you look for him.”
  • Zechariah 8:20 - He continued, “Many nations will still come to you. And those who live in many cities will also come.
  • Zechariah 8:21 - The people who live in one city will go to another city. They will say, ‘Let’s go right away to ask the Lord for his blessing. Let’s look to him as our God. We ourselves are going.’
  • Zechariah 8:22 - Large numbers of people and nations will come to Jerusalem. They will look to me. They will ask me to bless them.”
  • Zechariah 8:23 - He continued, “At that time many people of all nations and languages will take hold of one Jew. They will grab hold of the hem of his robe. And they will say, ‘We want to go to Jerusalem with you. We’ve heard that God is with you.’ ”
  • Acts 13:43 - The people were told they could leave the service. Many Jews followed Paul and Barnabas. Many Gentiles who faithfully worshiped the God of the Jews did the same. Paul and Barnabas talked with them. They tried to get them to keep living in God’s grace.
  • Acts 15:22 - Then the apostles, the elders and the whole church decided what to do. They would choose some of their own men who were leaders among the believers. They would send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. So they chose Judas Barsabbas and Silas. They were leaders among the believers.
  • Acts 13:50 - But the Jewish leaders stirred up the important women who worshiped God. They also stirred up the men who were leaders in the city. The Jewish leaders tried to get the women and men to attack Paul and Barnabas. They threw Paul and Barnabas out of that area.
  • Acts 14:4 - The people of the city did not agree with one another. Some were on the side of the Jews. Others were on the side of the apostles.
  • Acts 17:12 - Because of this, many of the Berean Jews believed. A number of important Greek women also became believers. And so did many Greek men.
