John 3:5 - Jesus answered, “What I’m about to tell you is true. No one can enter God’s kingdom unless they are born with water and the Holy Spirit.
Acts 9:16 - I will show him how much he must suffer for me.”

John 16:2 - You will be thrown out of the synagogue. In fact, the time is coming when someone may kill you. And they will think they are doing God a favor.

1 Peter 4:15 - If you suffer, it shouldn’t be because you are a murderer. It shouldn’t be because you are a thief or someone who does evil things. It shouldn’t be because you interfere with other people’s business.
1 Peter 4:16 - But suppose you suffer for being a Christian. Then don’t be ashamed. Instead, praise God because you are known by the name of Christ.
Matthew 10:21 - “Brothers will hand over brothers to be killed. Fathers will hand over their children. Children will rise up against their parents and have them put to death.
Matthew 10:22 - You will be hated by everyone because of me. But anyone who remains strong in the faith will be saved.
Revelation 1:9 - I, John, am a believer like you. I am a friend who suffers like you. As members of Jesus’ royal family, we can put up with anything that happens to us. I was on the island of Patmos because I taught God’s word and what Jesus said.

2 Timothy 2:11 - Here is a saying you can trust. If we died with him, we will also live with him.
2 Timothy 2:12 - If we don’t give up, we will also rule with him. If we say we don’t know him, he will also say he doesn’t know us.
Acts 15:41 - Paul traveled through Syria and Cilicia. He gave strength to the churches there.

Isaiah 35:3 - Strengthen the hands of those who are weak. Help those whose knees give way.

Acts 13:43 - The people were told they could leave the service. Many Jews followed Paul and Barnabas. Many Gentiles who faithfully worshiped the God of the Jews did the same. Paul and Barnabas talked with them. They tried to get them to keep living in God’s grace.
John 15:20 - Remember what I told you. I said, ‘A slave is not more important than his master.’ ( John 13:16 ) If people hated me and tried to hurt me, they will do the same to you. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
Luke 24:26 - Didn’t the Messiah have to suffer these things and then receive his glory?”
2 Peter 1:11 - You will receive a rich welcome into the kingdom that lasts forever. It is the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Acts 11:23 - When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad. He told them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.

1 Thessalonians 3:2 - We sent our brother Timothy to give you strength and hope in your faith. He works together with us in God’s service to spread the good news about Christ.
1 Thessalonians 3:3 - We sent him so that no one would be upset by times of testing. You know very well that we have to go through times of testing.
1 Thessalonians 3:4 - In fact, when we were with you, here is what we kept telling you. We were telling you that our enemies would make us suffer. As you know very well, it has turned out that way.
Romans 8:17 - As his children, we will receive all that he has for us. We will share what Christ receives. But we must share in his sufferings if we want to share in his glory.
John 16:33 - “I have told you these things, so that you can have peace because of me. In this world you will have trouble. But be encouraged! I have won the battle over the world.”
