Jeremiah 14:3 - The nobles send servants to get water, but all the wells are dry. The servants return with empty pitchers, confused and desperate, covering their heads in grief.
Jeremiah 14:4 - The ground is parched and cracked for lack of rain. The farmers are deeply troubled; they, too, cover their heads.
Jeremiah 14:5 - Even the doe abandons her newborn fawn because there is no grass in the field.
Jeremiah 14:6 - The wild donkeys stand on the bare hills panting like thirsty jackals. They strain their eyes looking for grass, but there is none to be found.”
Leviticus 26:26 - I will destroy your food supply, so that ten women will need only one oven to bake bread for their families. They will ration your food by weight, and though you have food to eat, you will not be satisfied.
Luke 10:39 - Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught.
Acts of the Apostles 22:3 - Then Paul said, “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, and I was brought up and educated here in Jerusalem under Gamaliel. 2 Kings 2:3 - The group of prophets from Bethel came to Elisha and asked him, “Did you know that the Lord is going to take your master away from you today?” “Of course I know,” Elisha answered. “But be quiet about it.”
2 Kings 2:1 - When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal.
2 Kings 8:1 - Elisha had told the woman whose son he had brought back to life, “Take your family and move to some other place, for the Lord has called for a famine on Israel that will last for seven years.”
