Matthew 17:17 - Jesus said, “You faithless and corrupt people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.”
Matthew 17:18 - Then Jesus rebuked the demon in the boy, and it left him. From that moment the boy was well.
Matthew 17:19 - Afterward the disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why couldn’t we cast out that demon?”
Matthew 17:20 - “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. ”
1 Kings 18:26 - So they prepared one of the bulls and placed it on the altar. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning until noontime, shouting, “O Baal, answer us!” But there was no reply of any kind. Then they danced, hobbling around the altar they had made.
Ephesians 5:14 - for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
1 Kings 18:29 - They raved all afternoon until the time of the evening sacrifice, but still there was no sound, no reply, no response.
Acts of the Apostles 19:13 - A group of Jews was traveling from town to town casting out evil spirits. They tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus in their incantation, saying, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, to come out!”
Acts of the Apostles 19:14 - Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this.
Acts of the Apostles 19:15 - But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?”
Acts of the Apostles 19:16 - Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered.
Acts of the Apostles 19:17 - The story of what happened spread quickly all through Ephesus, to Jews and Greeks alike. A solemn fear descended on the city, and the name of the Lord Jesus was greatly honored.
Mark 9:19 - Jesus said to them, “You faithless people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
Mark 9:20 - So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth.
Mark 9:21 - “How long has this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy’s father. He replied, “Since he was a little boy.
Mark 9:22 - The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.”
Mark 9:23 - “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
Mark 9:24 - The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”
Mark 9:25 - When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!”
Mark 9:26 - Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He’s dead.”
Mark 9:27 - But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up.
Mark 9:28 - Afterward, when Jesus was alone in the house with his disciples, they asked him, “Why couldn’t we cast out that evil spirit?”
Mark 9:29 - Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer. ”
Daniel 12:2 - Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace.
John 11:43 - Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”
John 11:44 - And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!”
John 11:11 - Then he said, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but now I will go and wake him up.”
