2 Kings 25:6 - Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and he passed sentence on him.
2 Kings 25:7 - And they slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles, and brought him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:6 - On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.
Jeremiah 52:7 - Then the city was breached, and all the warriors fled and left the city at night by way of the gate between the two walls which was by the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
Jeremiah 52:8 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the desert plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him.
Jeremiah 52:9 - Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.
Jeremiah 52:10 - And the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also slaughtered all the commanders of Judah in Riblah.
Jeremiah 52:11 - Then he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him with bronze shackles and brought him to Babylon and put him in prison until the day of his death.
Jeremiah 52:12 - Now on the tenth day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, who was in the service of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 52:13 - And he burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.
Jeremiah 52:14 - So the entire army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard tore down all the walls around Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 52:15 - Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took into exile some of the poorest of the people, the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the craftsmen.
Jeremiah 52:16 - But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and farmers.
Jeremiah 52:17 - Now the bronze pillars which belonged to the house of the Lord and the stands and the bronze sea, which were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans smashed to pieces and carried all their bronze to Babylon.
Jeremiah 52:18 - They also took the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the pans, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service.
Jeremiah 52:19 - The captain of the guard also took the bowls, the firepans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the pans, and the drink offering bowls, whatever was fine gold, and whatever was fine silver.
Jeremiah 52:20 - The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
Jeremiah 52:21 - As for the pillars, the height of each pillar was eighteen cubits, and it was twelve cubits in circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow.
Jeremiah 52:22 - Also, a capital of bronze was on top of it; and the height of each capital was five cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, including pomegranates.
Jeremiah 52:23 - There were ninety-six exposed pomegranates; all the pomegranates numbered a hundred on the latticework all around.
Jeremiah 52:24 - Then the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three officers of the temple.
Jeremiah 52:25 - He also took from the city one official who was overseer of the warriors, seven of the king’s advisers who were found in the city, the scribe of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men from the people of the land who were found inside the city.
Jeremiah 52:26 - Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
Jeremiah 52:27 - Then the king of Babylon struck them and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was led into exile from its land.
Jeremiah 52:28 - These are the people whom Nebuchadnezzar took into exile: in the seventh year 3,023 Jews;
Jeremiah 52:29 - in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar 832 persons from Jerusalem;
Jeremiah 52:30 - in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took into exile 745 Jewish people; there were 4,600 people in all.
Jeremiah 52:31 - Now it came about in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, showed favor to Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.
Jeremiah 52:32 - Then he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the thrones of the kings who were with him in Babylon.
Jeremiah 52:33 - So Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes, and had his meals in the king’s presence regularly all the days of his life.
Jeremiah 52:34 - And as his allowance, a regular allowance was given to him by the king of Babylon, a portion for each day, all the days of his life until the day of his death.
Jeremiah 18:21 - Therefore, give their children over to famine And turn them over to the power of the sword; And let their wives become childless and widowed. Let their men also be slaughtered to death, Their young men struck and killed by the sword in battle.

Deuteronomy 32:24 - They will be wasted by famine, and emaciated by plague And a bitter epidemic; And the teeth of beasts I will send against them, With the venom of crawling things of the dust.

Deuteronomy 28:22 - The Lord will strike you with consumption, inflammation, fever, feverish heat, and with the sword, with blight, and with mildew, and they will pursue you until you perish.
Deuteronomy 28:23 - The heaven which is over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you, iron.
Deuteronomy 28:24 - The Lord will make the rain of your land powder and dust; from heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:25 - “The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies; you will go out one way against them, but you will flee seven ways from their presence, and you will be an example of terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
Deuteronomy 28:26 - Your dead bodies will serve as food for all birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
Deuteronomy 28:27 - “The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, the festering rash, and with scabies, from which you cannot be healed.
Deuteronomy 28:28 - The Lord will strike you with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind;
Deuteronomy 28:29 - and you will be groping about at noon, just as a person who is blind gropes in the darkness, and you will not be successful in your ways; but you will only be oppressed and robbed all the time, with no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:30 - You will betroth a woman, but another man will violate her; you will build a house, but you will not live in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not make use of its fruit.
Deuteronomy 28:31 - Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat of it; your donkey will be snatched away from you, and will not be restored to you; your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:32 - Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people, while your eyes look on and long for them constantly; but there will be nothing you can do.
Deuteronomy 28:33 - A people whom you do not know will eat the produce of your ground and every product of your labor, and you will never be anything but oppressed and mistreated continually.
Deuteronomy 28:34 - You will also be driven insane by the sight of what you see.
Deuteronomy 28:35 - The Lord will strike you on the knees and thighs with severe boils from which you cannot be healed, and strike you from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
Deuteronomy 28:36 - The Lord will bring you and your king, whom you appoint over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, made of wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:37 - And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.
Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
Deuteronomy 28:39 - You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor bring in the harvest, because the worm will eat it.
Deuteronomy 28:40 - You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, because your olives will drop off prematurely.
Deuteronomy 28:41 - You will father sons and daughters but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.
Deuteronomy 28:42 - The cricket will take possession of all your trees and the produce of your ground.
Deuteronomy 28:43 - The stranger who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, and you will go down lower and lower.
Deuteronomy 28:44 - He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail.
Deuteronomy 28:45 - “So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
Deuteronomy 28:47 - “Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,
Deuteronomy 28:48 - you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.
Deuteronomy 28:49 - “The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,
Deuteronomy 28:50 - a nation with a defiant attitude, who will have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.
Deuteronomy 28:51 - Furthermore, it will eat the offspring of your herd and the produce of your ground until you are destroyed; a nation that will leave you no grain, new wine, or oil, nor the newborn of your cattle or the young of your flock, until they have eliminated you.
Deuteronomy 28:52 - And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 28:53 - Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.
Deuteronomy 28:54 - The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:58 - “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,
Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
Deuteronomy 28:60 - And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
Deuteronomy 28:61 - Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:62 - Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not obey the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 28:63 - And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.
Deuteronomy 28:64 - Furthermore, the Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone, which you and your fathers have not known.
Deuteronomy 28:65 - Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.

Jeremiah 39:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and they took him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.

Jeremiah 39:9 - And as for the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to him and the rest of the people who remained, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard took them into exile in Babylon.
Jeremiah 39:10 - But some of the poorest people, who had nothing, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard left behind in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at that time.
Jeremiah 39:11 - Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave orders regarding Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, saying,
Jeremiah 39:12 - “Take him and look after him, and do not do anything harmful to him, but rather deal with him just as he tells you.”
Jeremiah 39:13 - So Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard sent word, along with Nebushazban the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, and all the leading officers of the king of Babylon;
Jeremiah 39:14 - they even sent word and took Jeremiah out of the courtyard of the guardhouse and entrusted him to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him home. So he stayed among the people.
Jeremiah 39:15 - Now the word of the Lord had come to Jeremiah while he was confined in the courtyard of the guardhouse, saying,
Jeremiah 39:16 - “Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, ‘This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Behold, I am going to bring My words on this city for disaster and not for prosperity; and they will take place before you on that day.
Jeremiah 39:17 - But I will save you on that day,” declares the Lord, “and you will not be handed over to the men of whom you are afraid.
Jeremiah 39:18 - For I will assuredly rescue you, and you will not fall by the sword; but you will have your own life as plunder, because you have trusted in Me,” declares the Lord.’ ”
2 Chronicles 24:21 - So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him to death in the courtyard of the house of the Lord.

Luke 13:1 - Now on that very occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

2 Kings 25:1 - Now in the ninth year of his reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, camped against it, and built a siege wall all around it.
2 Kings 25:2 - So the city was under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
2 Kings 25:3 - On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.
2 Kings 25:4 - Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls that were beside the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
2 Kings 25:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him.
2 Kings 25:6 - Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and he passed sentence on him.
2 Kings 25:7 - And they slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles, and brought him to Babylon.
2 Kings 25:8 - Now on the seventh day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
2 Kings 25:9 - And he burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every great house he burned with fire.
2 Kings 25:10 - So all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the bodyguards tore down the walls around Jerusalem.
2 Kings 25:11 - Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the bodyguards, led into exile the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the people.
2 Kings 25:12 - But the captain of the bodyguards left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and farmers.
2 Kings 25:13 - Now the Chaldeans smashed to pieces the bronze pillars which were in the house of the Lord, and the stands and the bronze Sea which were in the house of the Lord, and carried the bronze to Babylon.
2 Kings 25:14 - And they took away the pots, the shovels, the shears, the spoons, and all the bronze utensils which were used in temple service.
2 Kings 25:15 - The captain of the bodyguards also took away the firepans and the basins, what was fine gold and what was fine silver.
2 Kings 25:16 - The two pillars, the one Sea, and the stands which Solomon had made for the house of the Lord— the bronze of all these articles was too heavy to weigh.
2 Kings 25:17 - The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a bronze capital was on it; the height of the capital was three cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, same features with latticework.
2 Kings 25:18 - Then the captain of the bodyguards took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three doorkeepers.
2 Kings 25:19 - And from the city he took one official who was overseer of the men of war, and five of the king’s advisers who were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the army who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city.
2 Kings 25:20 - Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
2 Kings 25:21 - Then the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah went into exile from its land.

2 Kings 25:29 - So Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes, and had his meals in the king’s presence regularly all the days of his life;
2 Kings 25:30 - and as his allowance, a regular allowance was given to him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life.

Leviticus 26:19 - I will also break down your pride of power; and I will make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.
Leviticus 26:20 - Your strength will be consumed uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.
Leviticus 26:21 - ‘Yet if you show hostility toward Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will increase the plague on you seven times according to your sins.
Leviticus 26:22 - I will also let loose among you the animals of the field, which will deprive you of your children and eliminate your cattle, and reduce your number so that your roads become deserted.
Leviticus 26:23 - ‘And if by these things you do not learn your lesson regarding Me, but you show hostility toward Me,
Leviticus 26:24 - then I in turn will show hostility toward you; and I, even I, will strike you seven times for your sins.
Leviticus 26:25 - I will also bring upon you a sword which will execute vengeance for the covenant; and when you gather together into your cities, I will send a plague among you, so that you will be handed over to the enemy.
Leviticus 26:26 - When I break your staff of bread, ten women will bake your bread in one oven, and they will bring back your bread in rationed amounts, so that you will eat and not be satisfied.
Leviticus 26:27 - ‘Yet if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me,

Leviticus 26:36 - As for those among you who are left, I will also bring despair into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. And the sound of a scattered leaf will chase them, and even when no one is pursuing they will flee as though from the sword, and they will fall.
Leviticus 26:37 - They will then stumble over each other as if running from the sword, although no one is pursuing; and you will have no strength to stand before your enemies.
Leviticus 26:38 - Instead, you will perish among the nations, and your enemies’ land will consume you.
Leviticus 26:39 - So those of you who may be left will rot away because of their wrongdoing in the lands of your enemies; and also because of the wrongdoing of their forefathers they will rot away with them.
Leviticus 26:40 - ‘But if they confess their wrongdoing and the wrongdoing of their forefathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also in their acting with hostility against Me—
Leviticus 26:41 - I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies—or if their uncircumcised heart is humbled so that they then make amends for their wrongdoing,
Leviticus 26:42 - then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham as well, and I will remember the land.
Leviticus 26:43 - For the land will be abandoned by them, and will restore its Sabbaths while it is made desolate without them. They, meanwhile, will be making amends for their wrongdoing, because they rejected My ordinances and their soul loathed My statutes.
Leviticus 26:44 - Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so loathe them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.
Leviticus 26:45 - But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, so that I might be their God. I am the Lord.’ ”

Jeremiah 52:20 - The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
Jeremiah 52:21 - As for the pillars, the height of each pillar was eighteen cubits, and it was twelve cubits in circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow.
Jeremiah 52:22 - Also, a capital of bronze was on top of it; and the height of each capital was five cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, including pomegranates.

Jeremiah 52:31 - Now it came about in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, showed favor to Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.
Jeremiah 52:32 - Then he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the thrones of the kings who were with him in Babylon.
Jeremiah 52:33 - So Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes, and had his meals in the king’s presence regularly all the days of his life.
Jeremiah 52:34 - And as his allowance, a regular allowance was given to him by the king of Babylon, a portion for each day, all the days of his life until the day of his death.
Jeremiah 18:21 - Therefore, give their children over to famine And turn them over to the power of the sword; And let their wives become childless and widowed. Let their men also be slaughtered to death, Their young men struck and killed by the sword in battle.
Ezekiel 9:5 - But to the others He said in my presence, “Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare.
Ezekiel 9:6 - Utterly kill old men, young men, female virgins, little children, and women, but do not touch any person on whom is the mark; and you shall start from My sanctuary.” So they started with the elders who were before the temple.
Ezekiel 9:7 - He also said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courtyards with the dead. Go out!” So they went out and struck and killed the people in the city.
Psalms 79:2 - They have given the dead bodies of Your servants to the birds of the sky as food, The flesh of Your godly ones to the animals of the earth.
Psalms 79:3 - They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem; And there was no one to bury them.
Deuteronomy 32:15 - “But Jeshurun became fat and kicked— You have become fat, thick, and obstinate— Then he abandoned God who made him, And rejected the Rock of his salvation.
Deuteronomy 32:16 - They made Him jealous with strange gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger.
Deuteronomy 32:17 - They sacrificed to demons, who were not God, To gods whom they have not known, New gods who came lately, Whom your fathers did not know.
Deuteronomy 32:18 - You forgot the Rock who fathered you, And forgot the God who gave you birth.
Deuteronomy 32:19 - “The Lord saw this, and spurned them Because of the provocation by His sons and daughters.
Deuteronomy 32:20 - Then He said, ‘I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be; For they are a perverse generation, Sons in whom there is no faithfulness.
Deuteronomy 32:21 - They have made Me jealous with what is not God; They have provoked Me to anger with their idols. So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation,
Deuteronomy 32:22 - For a fire has flared in My anger, And it burns to the lowest part of Sheol, And devours the earth with its yield, And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.
Deuteronomy 32:23 - ‘I will add misfortunes to them; I will use up My arrows on them.
Deuteronomy 32:24 - They will be wasted by famine, and emaciated by plague And a bitter epidemic; And the teeth of beasts I will send against them, With the venom of crawling things of the dust.
Deuteronomy 32:25 - Outside the sword will make them childless, And inside, terror— Both young man and virgin, The nursing child with the man of gray hair.
Deuteronomy 32:26 - I would have said, “I will wipe them out, I will remove the mention of their name from humanity,”
Deuteronomy 32:27 - Had I not feared the provocation by the enemy, That their adversaries would misjudge, That they would say, “Our hand is triumphant, And the Lord has not performed all this.” ’
Deuteronomy 32:28 - “For they are a nation destitute of counsel, And there is no understanding in them.
Deuteronomy 28:15 - “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
Deuteronomy 28:16 - “Cursed will you be in the city, and cursed will you be in the country.
Deuteronomy 28:17 - “Cursed will be your basket and your kneading bowl.
Deuteronomy 28:18 - “Cursed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, the newborn of your herd, and the offspring of your flock.
Deuteronomy 28:19 - “Cursed will you be when you come in, and cursed will you be when you go out.
Deuteronomy 28:20 - “The Lord will send against you curses, panic, and rebuke, in everything you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have abandoned Me.
Deuteronomy 28:21 - The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has eliminated you from the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
Deuteronomy 28:22 - The Lord will strike you with consumption, inflammation, fever, feverish heat, and with the sword, with blight, and with mildew, and they will pursue you until you perish.
Deuteronomy 28:23 - The heaven which is over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you, iron.
Deuteronomy 28:24 - The Lord will make the rain of your land powder and dust; from heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:25 - “The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies; you will go out one way against them, but you will flee seven ways from their presence, and you will be an example of terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
Deuteronomy 28:26 - Your dead bodies will serve as food for all birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
Deuteronomy 28:27 - “The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, the festering rash, and with scabies, from which you cannot be healed.
Deuteronomy 28:28 - The Lord will strike you with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind;
Deuteronomy 28:29 - and you will be groping about at noon, just as a person who is blind gropes in the darkness, and you will not be successful in your ways; but you will only be oppressed and robbed all the time, with no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:30 - You will betroth a woman, but another man will violate her; you will build a house, but you will not live in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not make use of its fruit.
Deuteronomy 28:31 - Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat of it; your donkey will be snatched away from you, and will not be restored to you; your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:32 - Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people, while your eyes look on and long for them constantly; but there will be nothing you can do.
Deuteronomy 28:33 - A people whom you do not know will eat the produce of your ground and every product of your labor, and you will never be anything but oppressed and mistreated continually.
Deuteronomy 28:34 - You will also be driven insane by the sight of what you see.
Deuteronomy 28:35 - The Lord will strike you on the knees and thighs with severe boils from which you cannot be healed, and strike you from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
Deuteronomy 28:36 - The Lord will bring you and your king, whom you appoint over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, made of wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:37 - And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.
Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
Deuteronomy 28:39 - You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor bring in the harvest, because the worm will eat it.
Deuteronomy 28:40 - You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, because your olives will drop off prematurely.
Deuteronomy 28:41 - You will father sons and daughters but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.
Deuteronomy 28:42 - The cricket will take possession of all your trees and the produce of your ground.
Deuteronomy 28:43 - The stranger who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, and you will go down lower and lower.
Deuteronomy 28:44 - He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail.
Deuteronomy 28:45 - “So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
Deuteronomy 28:47 - “Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,
Deuteronomy 28:48 - you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.
Deuteronomy 28:49 - “The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,
Deuteronomy 28:50 - a nation with a defiant attitude, who will have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.
Deuteronomy 28:51 - Furthermore, it will eat the offspring of your herd and the produce of your ground until you are destroyed; a nation that will leave you no grain, new wine, or oil, nor the newborn of your cattle or the young of your flock, until they have eliminated you.
Deuteronomy 28:52 - And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 28:53 - Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.
Deuteronomy 28:54 - The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:58 - “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,
Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
Deuteronomy 28:60 - And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
Deuteronomy 28:61 - Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:62 - Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not obey the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 28:63 - And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.
Deuteronomy 28:64 - Furthermore, the Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone, which you and your fathers have not known.
Deuteronomy 28:65 - Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.
Deuteronomy 28:66 - So your lives will be hanging in doubt before you; and you will be terrified night and day, and have no assurance of your life.
Deuteronomy 28:67 - In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ And at evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the terror of your heart which you fear, and the sight of your eyes which you will see.
Deuteronomy 28:68 - And the Lord will bring you back to Egypt in ships, by the way about which I said to you, ‘You will never see it again!’ And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”
2 Kings 24:2 - And the Lord sent against him bands of Chaldeans, bands of Arameans, bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, in accordance with the word of the Lord which He had spoken through His servants the prophets.
2 Kings 24:3 - It indeed came upon Judah at the command of the Lord, to remove them from His sight due to the sins of Manasseh, in accordance with everything that he had done,
Jeremiah 15:8 - Their widows will be more numerous before Me Than the sand of the seas; I will bring against them, against the mother of a young man, A destroyer at noon; I will suddenly bring down on her Shock and horror.
Jeremiah 15:9 - She who gave birth to seven sons withers away; Her breathing is labored. Her sun has set while it was still day; She has been shamed and humiliated. So I will turn over their survivors to the sword Before their enemies,” declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 39:1 - Now when Jerusalem was captured in the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came to Jerusalem and laid siege to it;
Jeremiah 39:2 - in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the city wall was breached.
Jeremiah 39:3 - Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came in and sat down at the Middle Gate: Nergal-sar-ezer, Samgar-nebu, Sar-sekim the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, and all the rest of the officials of the king of Babylon.
Jeremiah 39:4 - And when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, they fled and left the city at night by way of the king’s garden through the gate between the two walls; and he went out toward the Arabah.
Jeremiah 39:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and they took him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.
Jeremiah 39:6 - Then the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes at Riblah; the king of Babylon also slaughtered all the nobles of Judah.
Jeremiah 39:7 - He then blinded Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him in shackles of bronze to bring him to Babylon.
Jeremiah 39:8 - The Chaldeans also burned the king’s palace and the houses of the people with fire, and they tore down the walls of Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 39:9 - And as for the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to him and the rest of the people who remained, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard took them into exile in Babylon.
Jeremiah 39:10 - But some of the poorest people, who had nothing, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard left behind in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at that time.
Jeremiah 39:11 - Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave orders regarding Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, saying,
Jeremiah 39:12 - “Take him and look after him, and do not do anything harmful to him, but rather deal with him just as he tells you.”
Jeremiah 39:13 - So Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard sent word, along with Nebushazban the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, and all the leading officers of the king of Babylon;
Jeremiah 39:14 - they even sent word and took Jeremiah out of the courtyard of the guardhouse and entrusted him to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him home. So he stayed among the people.
Jeremiah 39:15 - Now the word of the Lord had come to Jeremiah while he was confined in the courtyard of the guardhouse, saying,
Jeremiah 39:16 - “Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, ‘This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Behold, I am going to bring My words on this city for disaster and not for prosperity; and they will take place before you on that day.
Jeremiah 39:17 - But I will save you on that day,” declares the Lord, “and you will not be handed over to the men of whom you are afraid.
Jeremiah 39:18 - For I will assuredly rescue you, and you will not fall by the sword; but you will have your own life as plunder, because you have trusted in Me,” declares the Lord.’ ”
2 Chronicles 24:21 - So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him to death in the courtyard of the house of the Lord.
Deuteronomy 30:18 - I declare to you today that you will certainly perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and take possession of it.
Lamentations 2:20 - See, Lord, and look! With whom have You dealt this way? Should women really eat their children, The little ones who were born healthy? Should priest and prophet really be killed In the sanctuary of the Lord?
Lamentations 2:21 - On the ground in the streets Lie young and old; My virgins and my young men Have fallen by the sword. You have put them to death on the day of Your anger, You have slaughtered, without sparing.
Lamentations 2:22 - You called as on the day of an appointed feast My terrors on every side; And there was no one who survived or escaped On the day of the Lord’s anger. As for those whom I brought forth healthy and whom I raised, My enemy annihilated them.”
Ezra 9:7 - Since the days of our fathers to this day we have been in great guilt, and because of our wrongful deeds we, our kings, and our priests have been handed over to the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to open shame, as it is this day.
Psalms 74:20 - Consider the covenant; For the dark places of the land are full of the places of violence.
