Nehemiah 1:9 - But if you return to me and carefully observe my commands, even though your exiles were banished to the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place where I chose to have my name dwell.”

2 Chronicles 6:9 - Yet, you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, your own offspring, will build the temple for my name.”
2 Chronicles 6:10 - So the Lord has fulfilled what he promised. I have taken the place of my father David and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised. I have built the temple for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.
2 Chronicles 6:11 - I have put the ark there, where the Lord’s covenant is that he made with the Israelites.
2 Kings 23:27 - For the Lord had said, “I will also remove Judah from my presence just as I have removed Israel. I will reject this city Jerusalem, that I have chosen, and the temple about which I said, ‘My name will be there.’”
1 Kings 11:36 - I will give one tribe to his son, so that my servant David will always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city I chose for myself to put my name there.
