Números 4:49 - Conforme al mandato del Señor por medio de Moisés, a cada uno se le asignó lo que tenía que hacer y transportar. Así fueron censados, según el mandato que Moisés recibió del Señor.
Números 3:20 - Clanes meraritas: Majlí y Musí. Estos son los clanes levitas, según sus familias patriarcales.
Números 1:2 - «Hagan un censo de toda la comunidad de Israel por clanes y por familias patriarcales, anotando uno por uno los nombres de todos los varones.
Números 1:3 - Tú y Aarón reclutarán por escuadrones a todos los varones israelitas mayores de veinte años que sean aptos para el servicio militar.
Números 1:4 - Para esto contarán con la colaboración de un hombre de cada tribu, que sea jefe de una familia patriarcal.
Números 2:32 - Estos son los israelitas reclutados de entre las familias patriarcales. El total de reclutas por escuadrones suma seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta hombres.
Esdras 3:8 - Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel, y Jesúa hijo de Josadac, junto con el resto de sus parientes, que eran sacerdotes, y con los levitas y con todos los que habían regresado del cautiverio, comenzaron la reconstrucción del templo en el mes segundo del segundo año de haber llegado a Jerusalén. A los levitas mayores de veinte años les encomendaron la tarea de supervisar las obras del templo del Señor.
Números 8:24 - «Esta ley se aplicará a los levitas: Para el servicio de la Tienda de reunión se inscribirá a los que tengan veinticinco años o más;
Números 4:3 - Incluye en él a todos los varones de treinta a cincuenta años de edad que sean aptos para trabajar en la Tienda de reunión.
Números 10:21 - Luego partieron los coatitas, que llevaban las cosas sagradas. El santuario se levantaba antes de que ellos llegaran al próximo lugar de campamento.
Números 10:17 - Entonces se desmontó el santuario, y los guersonitas y meraritas que lo transportaban se pusieron en marcha.
1 Crónicas 23:3 - Entonces contaron a los levitas que tenían más de treinta años, y resultó que eran en total treinta y ocho mil hombres.
