- Leviticus 10:17 - “Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place? For it is most holy, and He gave it to you to take away the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord.
- Leviticus 10:18 - Behold, since its blood had not been brought inside, into the sanctuary, you certainly should have eaten it in the sanctuary, just as I commanded!”
- Hebrews 5:4 - And no one takes the honor for himself, but receives it when he is called by God, just as Aaron also was.
- 1 Samuel 2:28 - Did I not choose them from all the tribes of Israel to be My priests, to go up to My altar, to burn incense, to carry an ephod before Me? And did I not give to the house of your father all the fire offerings of the sons of Israel?
- Exodus 30:6 - You shall put this altar in front of the veil that is near the ark of the testimony, in front of the atoning cover that is over the ark of the testimony, where I will meet with you.
- Exodus 30:7 - Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.
- Exodus 30:8 - And when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations.
- Exodus 30:9 - You shall not offer any strange incense on this altar, or burnt offering, or meal offering; and you shall not pour out a drink offering on it.
- Exodus 30:10 - However, Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.”
