1 Sử Ký 25:4 - Các con trai của Hê-man là Búc-ki-gia, Ma-tha-nia, U-xi-ên, Sê-bu-ên, Giê-ri-mốt, Ha-na-nia, Ha-na-ni, Ê-li-a-tha, Ghi-đanh-thi, Rô-mam-ti-ê-xe, Giốt-bê-ca-sa, Ma-lô-thi, Hô-thia, và Ma-ha-xi-ốt.
1 Sử Ký 25:5 - Họ đều là con trai Hê-man, tiên kiến của vua. Đức Chúa Trời đã ban đặc ân cho ông được mười bốn con trai và ba con gái.
1 Sử Ký 25:6 - Tất cả những người này đều ở dưới sự điều khiển của cha mình, họ lo việc ca hát tại nhà của Chúa Hằng Hữu. Nhiệm vụ của họ gồm chơi đàn chập chõa, đàn hạc, và đàn lia tại nhà của Đức Chúa Trời. A-sáp, Giê-đu-thun và Hê-man đều dưới quyền của vua.
E-xơ-ra 3:4 - Họ cử hành lễ Lều Tạm như sách Luật dạy, dâng đúng số lễ thiêu phải dâng mỗi ngày.
2 Sử Ký 8:14 - Theo lệnh Đa-vít, cha vua, các thầy tế lễ được phân công và chia thành từng ban. Người Lê-vi cũng được phân công tôn ngợi Chúa và giúp các thầy tế lễ trong các nhiệm vụ hằng ngày. Ông cũng phải canh gác các cổng theo từng ban thứ như lệnh của Đa-vít, người của Đức Chúa Trời.
