1Come, let us shout joyfully to the Lord,

2Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving;

let us shout triumphantly to Him in song. Ps 100:4; Jnh 2:9

3For the Lord is a great God,

a great King above all gods. Dt 10:17; Ps 47:2; 96:4

4The depths of the earth are in His hand,

and the mountain peaks are His. Ps 135:6

5The sea is His; He made it.

His hands formed the dry land. Gn 1:9-10; Ps 146:6; Jnh 1:9

6Come, let us worship and bow down;

let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Ps 96:9; 100:3; Is 17:7

7For He is our God,

and we are the people of His pasture,

the sheep under His care. Lit sheep of His hand Ps 79:13

Today, if you hear His voice: Heb 3:7-11,15; 4:7

8Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah,

as on that day at Massah in the wilderness Ex 17:7; Dt 6:16

9where your fathers tested Me;

they tried Me, though they had seen what I did. Nm 14:22; Ps 78:18

10For 40 years I was disgusted with that generation;

I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray;

they do not know My ways.” Dt 9:7; Ac 13:18; Heb 3:10,17

11So I swore in My anger,

“They will not enter My rest.” Nm 14:23,28-30; Dt 12:9
