PSALM 146
The Lord, an Abundant Helper.
Praise the Lord, my soul!
2I will praise the Lord while I live;
I will sing praises to my God while I Lit still amhave my being.
3Do not trust in noblemen,
In Lit a son of manmortal man, in whom there is no salvation.
4His spirit departs, he returns to Lit his earththe earth;
On that very day his plans perish.
5Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6Who made heaven and earth,
The sea and everything that is in them;
Who keeps Or truthfaith forever;
7Who executes justice for the oppressed;
Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord frees the prisoners.
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous.
9The Lord watches over strangers;
He Or relievessupports the fatherless and the widow,
But He Lit bendsthwarts the way of the wicked.
10The Lord will reign forever,
Your God, Zion, to all generations.
