Thanksgiving for Victory
1Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
His faithful love endures forever. 2Ch 5:13; Ezr 3:11; Ps 100:5
2Let Israel say,
“His faithful love endures forever.” Ps 115:9
3Let the house of Aaron say,
“His faithful love endures forever.” Ps 115:10; 135:19
4Let those who fear the Lord say,
“His faithful love endures forever.” Ps 22:23; 115:11
the Lord answered me
and put me in a spacious place. Or answered me with freedom Ps 18:19
6The Lord is for me; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? Ps 56:4,11; Heb 13:6
7The Lord is my helper,
Therefore, I will look in triumph on those who hate me. Ps 54:4,7; 59:10
8It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. Ps 40:4; 108:12; Jr 17:5
9It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in nobles. Ps 146:3
10All the nations surrounded me;
in the name of Yahweh I destroyed them. Ps 3:6; 88:17
11They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me;
in the name of Yahweh I destroyed them. Ps 18:40
12They surrounded me like bees; Dt 1:44
they were extinguished like a fire among thorns;
in the name of Yahweh I destroyed them. Ps 58:9; Nah 1:10
but the Lord helped me. Ps 140:4
14The Lord is my strength and my song;
He has become my salvation. Ex 15:2; Ps 27:1; Is 12:2
15There are shouts of joy and victory
in the tents of the righteous:
“The Lord’s right hand performs valiantly! Ex 15:6; Lk 1:51
16The Lord’s right hand is raised.
The Lord’s right hand performs valiantly! ” Ps 89:13
17I will not die, but I will live
and proclaim what the Lord has done. Ps 73:28; Hab 1:12
18The Lord disciplined me severely
but did not give me over to death. Ps 86:13; Jr 30:11; 2Co 6:9
19Open the gates of righteousness for me;
I will enter through them
and give thanks to the Lord. Is 26:2
20This is the gate of the Lord;
the righteous will enter through it. Ps 24:3-6; Rv 22:14
21I will give thanks to You
because You have answered me
and have become my salvation. Ps 116:1
22The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone. Lk 20:17; Ac 4:11; 1Pt 2:4,7
23This came from the Lord;
it is wonderful in our eyes. Mt 21:42; Mk 12:11
24This is the day the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. Ps 31:7
25Lord, save us!
Lord, please grant us success! Neh 2:20; Ps 122:6-7
26He who comes in the name
of the Lord is blessed. Mt 21:9; Mk 11:9-10; Lk 13:35; Jn 12:13
From the house of the Lord we bless you. Ps 129:8
27The Lord is God and has given us light.
Bind the festival sacrifice with cords
to the horns of the altar. Ex 27:2; Ps 18:28; 1Pt 2:9
28You are my God, and I will give You thanks.
You are my God; I will exalt You. Is 25:1
29Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
