我必除灭人和牲畜，与空中的鸟、海里的鱼，以及绊脚石和恶人；我必将人从地上剪除。”这是耶和华说的。

居民野獸、飛鳥海魚、偶像惡人、俱必殞亡、我耶和華已言之矣。

必除人與畜、除空中鳥、海中魚、除凡陷人於罪之事、及諸惡人、我必翦滅人於斯地、此乃主所言、

“ I will sweep away both man and beast; I will sweep away the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea— and the idols that cause the wicked to stumble.”“ When I destroy all mankind on the face of the earth,” declares the Lord,

“ I will destroy people and animals alike. I will wipe out the birds in the sky and the fish in the waters. I will destroy the statues of gods that cause evil people to sin. That will happen when I destroy all human beings on the face of the earth,” announces the Lord.

“ I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, and the rubble with the wicked. I will cut off mankind from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away people and animals alike. I will sweep away the birds of the sky and the fish in the sea. I will reduce the wicked to heaps of rubble, and I will wipe humanity from the face of the earth,” says the Lord.

I will sweep away people and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea, and the ruins along with the wicked. I will cut off mankind from the face of the earth. This is the LORD’s declaration.

“ I will remove human and animal life; I will remove the birds of the sky And the fish of the sea, And the ruins along with the wicked; And I will eliminate mankind from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will consume man and beast; I will consume the birds of the heavens, The fish of the sea, And the stumbling blocks along with the wicked. I will cut off man from the face of the land,” Says the Lord.

“ I will destroy people and animals; I will destroy the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea.( The idolatrous images of these creatures will be destroyed along with evil people.) I will remove humanity from the face of the earth,” says the Lord.

I will sweep away man and animal. I will sweep away the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and the heaps of rubble with the wicked. I will cut off man from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.

Because of this the land dries up, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea are swept away. (niv)

“‘ They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be treated as a thing unclean. Their silver and gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs, for it has caused them to stumble into sin. (niv)

I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.I will destroy your idols and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles when I demolish your cities. (niv)

“ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: As I have given the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest as fuel for the fire, so will I treat the people living in Jerusalem.I will set my face against them. Although they have come out of the fire, the fire will yet consume them. And when I set my face against them, you will know that I am the Lord.I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign Lord.” (niv)

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. (niv)

I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone.I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying.I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away.I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.This is what the Lord says:“ The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely.Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back.”At the sound of horsemen and archers every town takes to flight. Some go into the thickets; some climb up among the rocks. All the towns are deserted; no one lives in them. (niv)

“ Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all?Therefore speak to them and tell them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When any of the Israelites set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet, I the Lord will answer them myself in keeping with their great idolatry.I will do this to recapture the hearts of the people of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.’“ Therefore say to the people of Israel,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!“‘ When any of the Israelites or any foreigner residing in Israel separate themselves from me and set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet to inquire of me, I the Lord will answer them myself. (niv)

“ On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more,” declares the Lord Almighty.“ I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. (niv)

By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing. (niv)

“ Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals,even if these three men— Noah, Daniel and Job— were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.“ Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts,as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.“ Or if I bring a sword against that country and say,‘ Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its people and their animals,as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.“ Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath on it through bloodshed, killing its people and their animals,as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.“ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments— sword and famine and wild beasts and plague— to kill its men and their animals! Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? I will answer him and care for him. I am like a flourishing juniper; your fruitfulness comes from me.” (niv)

For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say,‘ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” (niv)

Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say‘ Our gods’ to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion.” (niv)

How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying,“ He will not see what happens to us.” (niv)

But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord. (niv)
