Then the Lord will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south,

And Joshua captured all these kings and their land at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.

Is this not written in the Book of Jashar? The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and did not hurry to set for about a whole day.There has been no day like it before or since, when the Lord heeded the voice of a man, for the Lord fought for Israel.

The sun and moon stood still in their place at the light of your arrows as they sped, at the flash of your glittering spear.

And the Lord will cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger and a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst and storm and hailstones.

while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

On that day the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the Lord, going before them.

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God— so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

Bow your heavens, O Lord, and come down! Touch the mountains so that they smoke!Flash forth the lightning and scatter them; send out your arrows and rout them!

All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains, look! When a trumpet is blown, hear!
