Then the Lord will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south,

祂射出利箭驅散仇敵，發出閃電擊潰他們。

看啊，耶和華要在火中降臨，祂的戰車好像旋風。祂要發烈怒，用火焰懲罰。

到那日，號角吹響後，亞述地將要滅亡的以色列人和流散到埃及的以色列人，都必來到耶路撒冷的聖山敬拜耶和華。

以下是關於海邊沙漠的預言：敵人從可怕的沙漠之地上來，好像狂風掃過南部的曠野。

耶和華說，我要成為一堵火牆環繞耶路撒冷，作城中的榮耀。』

我便觀看，見有一匹白馬，馬上的騎士拿著弓，他接受了賞賜給他的冠冕後，便四處征戰，戰無不勝。

萬軍之耶和華必保護耶路撒冷，就像飛鳥展翅保護幼雛一樣。祂必護衛它，拯救它。」

偉大的王啊，佩上你的寶劍，你是何等尊貴、威嚴！你威嚴無比，所向披靡，捍衛真理和正義，保護卑微的人。願你的右手彰顯可畏的作為！你的利箭刺穿敵人的心窩，列國臣服在你腳下。

教導他們遵守我吩咐你們的一切。記住，我必常與你們同在，一直到世界的末了。」

約書亞能一鼓作氣殺敗諸王，征服他們的土地，都是因為有以色列的上帝耶和華為以色列人爭戰。

那麼，你們和所有以色列人都應當知道，他能健康地站在你們面前，全是靠拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名！你們把祂釘在十字架上，但上帝使祂從死裡復活了。『祂是你們工匠丟棄的石頭，已成了房角石。』

敵人在從伯·和崙到亞西加的下坡路上逃竄的時候，耶和華降下大冰雹，被冰雹砸死的人比以色列人用刀殺死的還要多。耶和華將亞摩利人交在以色列人手中，那天約書亞當眾向耶和華禱告：「太陽啊，停在基遍！月亮啊，停在亞雅崙谷！」果然太陽停住了，月亮也不動了，直到以色列人殺敗敵人。《雅煞珥書》記載了這事。約有一天的時間，太陽停留在天空，沒有西沉。耶和華這樣垂聽一個人的祈求是空前絕後的，這是因為耶和華要為以色列爭戰。

你射出的箭閃閃發光，你的槍熠熠生輝，以致日月都停在天上。

耶和華必使人聽見祂威嚴的聲音，在憤怒、烈焰、暴雨、雷轟和冰雹中讓人看見祂降罰的臂膀。

同時，上帝按自己的旨意，用神蹟、奇事、各樣的異能、聖靈的恩賜和他們一同做見證。

到那天，耶和華必保護耶路撒冷的居民，使他們當中最軟弱的像大衛一樣剛強，使大衛家像上帝一樣，像耶和華的天使一樣帶領他們。

雲層倒出雨水，天上雷霆霹靂，電光四射。旋風中傳來你的雷聲，你的閃電照亮世界，大地顫抖震動。

那時，耶和華必出來與列國爭戰，像從前爭戰的日子一樣。

讓七個祭司拿著七個羊角號走在約櫃前面。到了第七天，你們要繞城七圈，祭司要吹響號角。當你們聽到號角長鳴時，所有的人都要高聲吶喊，城牆就會坍塌，眾人便可以直衝上去。」

到了破曉時分，耶和華從雲柱火柱中俯視埃及軍隊，擾亂他們的隊伍。祂使他們戰車的輪子脫落，難以前行。於是，埃及人說：「我們逃命吧，因為耶和華在幫助以色列人對付我們！」

我們爭戰的兵器不是屬血氣的，乃是從上帝而來的能力，可以摧毀堅固的營壘，擊破一切的謬論和阻礙人們認識上帝的驕傲言論，奪回被擄去的心思意念，使其順服基督。

耶和華啊，求你打開天門，親自降臨；求你觸摸群山，使群山冒煙。求你發出閃電驅散敵人，求你射出利箭擊潰他們。

世上的一切居民啊，山上豎立旗幟的時候，你們要看；號角吹響的時候，你們要聽。
