以下是关于海边沙漠的预言：敌人从可怕的沙漠之地上来，好像狂风扫过南部的旷野。

耶和华说，我要成为一堵火墙环绕耶路撒冷，作城中的荣耀。’

我便观看，见有一匹白马，马上的骑士拿着弓，他接受了赏赐给他的冠冕后，便四处征战，战无不胜。

万军之耶和华必保护耶路撒冷，就像飞鸟展翅保护幼雏一样。祂必护卫它，拯救它。”

伟大的王啊，佩上你的宝剑，你是何等尊贵、威严！你威严无比，所向披靡，捍卫真理和正义，保护卑微的人。愿你的右手彰显可畏的作为！你的利箭刺穿敌人的心窝，列国臣服在你脚下。

教导他们遵守我吩咐你们的一切。记住，我必常与你们同在，一直到世界的末了。”

约书亚能一鼓作气杀败诸王，征服他们的土地，都是因为有以色列的上帝耶和华为以色列人争战。

那么，你们和所有以色列人都应当知道，他能健康地站在你们面前，全是靠拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名！你们把祂钉在十字架上，但上帝使祂从死里复活了。“‘祂是你们工匠丢弃的石头，已成了房角石。’

敌人在从伯·和仑到亚西加的下坡路上逃窜的时候，耶和华降下大冰雹，被冰雹砸死的人比以色列人用刀杀死的还要多。耶和华将亚摩利人交在以色列人手中，那天约书亚当众向耶和华祷告：“太阳啊，停在基遍！月亮啊，停在亚雅仑谷！”果然太阳停住了，月亮也不动了，直到以色列人杀败敌人。《雅煞珥书》记载了这事。约有一天的时间，太阳停留在天空，没有西沉。耶和华这样垂听一个人的祈求是空前绝后的，这是因为耶和华要为以色列争战。

你射出的箭闪闪发光，你的枪熠熠生辉，以致日月都停在天上。

耶和华必使人听见祂威严的声音，在愤怒、烈焰、暴雨、雷轰和冰雹中让人看见祂降罚的臂膀。

同时，上帝按自己的旨意，用神迹、奇事、各样的异能、圣灵的恩赐和他们一同做见证。

到那天，耶和华必保护耶路撒冷的居民，使他们当中最软弱的像大卫一样刚强，使大卫家像上帝一样，像耶和华的天使一样带领他们。

云层倒出雨水，天上雷霆霹雳，电光四射。旋风中传来你的雷声，你的闪电照亮世界，大地颤抖震动。

那时，耶和华必出来与列国争战，像从前争战的日子一样。

让七个祭司拿着七个羊角号走在约柜前面。到了第七天，你们要绕城七圈，祭司要吹响号角。当你们听到号角长鸣时，所有的人都要高声吶喊，城墙就会坍塌，众人便可以直冲上去。”

到了破晓时分，耶和华从云柱火柱中俯视埃及军队，扰乱他们的队伍。祂使他们战车的轮子脱落，难以前行。于是，埃及人说：“我们逃命吧，因为耶和华在帮助以色列人对付我们！”

我们争战的兵器不是属血气的，乃是从上帝而来的能力，可以摧毁坚固的营垒，击破一切的谬论和阻碍人们认识上帝的骄傲言论，夺回被掳去的心思意念，使其顺服基督。

耶和华啊，求你打开天门，亲自降临；求你触摸群山，使群山冒烟。求你发出闪电驱散敌人，求你射出利箭击溃他们。

世上的一切居民啊，山上竖立旗帜的时候，你们要看；号角吹响的时候，你们要听。
