And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves?

And when you were eating and drinking, weren’t you just enjoying good food for yourselves?

And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

And even now in your holy festivals, aren’t you eating and drinking just to please yourselves?

When therefore ye assemble yourselves together, it is not possible to eat the Lord’s supper:for in your eating each one taketh before other his own supper; and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

As for the sacrifices of mine offerings, they sacrifice flesh and eat it; but Jehovah accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

But Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for Jehovah seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye proclaim the Lord’s death till he come.Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body.

and thou shalt bestow the money for whatsoever thy soul desireth, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul asketh of thee; and thou shalt eat there before Jehovah thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou and thy household.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

and did eat and drink before Jehovah on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto Jehovah to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.

and there ye shall eat before Jehovah your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee.
