你的土產和你勞碌得來的，必被你所不認識的國民吃盡。你時常被欺負，受壓制，

耶和華必使你們分散在萬民中，從地這邊到地那邊，你必在那裏事奉你和你列祖素不認識、木頭石頭的神。

看哪！耶和華的忿怒好像暴風，已經發出；是暴烈的旋風，必轉到惡人的頭上。

耶和華說：「我從前分散你們在天的四方，現在你們要從北方之地逃回。這是耶和華說的。」

耶和華必顯現在他們以上；他的箭必射出像閃電。主耶和華必吹角，乘南方的旋風而行。

論海旁曠野的默示：有仇敵從曠野，從可怕之地而來，好像南方的旋風，猛然掃過。

耶和華說：以色列家啊，我必使一國的民從遠方來攻擊你，是強盛的國，是從古而有的國。他們的言語你不曉得，他們的話你不明白。

我卻要在爭戰吶喊的日子，旋風狂暴的時候，點火在拉巴的城內，燒滅其中的宮殿。

看哪，耶和華的忿怒好像暴風已經發出；是掃滅的暴風，必轉到惡人的頭上。

那時，必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說：「有一陣熱風從曠野淨光的高處向我的眾民颳來，不是為簸揚，也不是為揚淨。必有一陣更大的風從這些地方為我颳來；現在我又必發出判語，攻擊他們。」

尼布甲尼撒二十三年，護衛長尼布撒拉旦擄去猶大人七百四十五名；共有四千六百人。

眾首領對巴錄說：「你和耶利米要去藏起來，不可叫人知道你們在哪裏。」

「耶和華要從遠方、地極帶一國的民，如鷹飛來攻擊你。這民的言語，你不懂得。

耶和華不輕易發怒，大有能力，萬不以有罪的為無罪。他乘旋風和暴風而來，雲彩為他腳下的塵土。

你用敵人的戈矛刺透他戰士的頭；他們來如旋風，要將我們分散。他們所喜愛的是暗中吞吃貧民。

這就應驗耶和華藉耶利米口所說的話：地享受安息；因為地土荒涼便守安息，直滿了七十年。

我要把你們散在列邦中；我也要拔刀追趕你們。你們的地要成為荒場；你們的城邑要變為荒涼。

因此，我的怒氣和忿怒都倒出來，在猶大城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上，如火着起，以致都荒廢淒涼，正如今日一樣。

主啊，求你按你的大仁大義，使你的怒氣和忿怒轉離你的城耶路撒冷，就是你的聖山。耶路撒冷和你的子民，因我們的罪惡和我們列祖的罪孽被四圍的人羞辱。我們的神啊，現在求你垂聽僕人的祈禱懇求，為自己使臉光照你荒涼的聖所。我的神啊，求你側耳而聽，睜眼而看，眷顧我們荒涼之地和稱為你名下的城。我們在你面前懇求，原不是因自己的義，乃因你的大憐憫。

四角之中有一角長出一個小角，向南、向東、向榮美之地，漸漸成為強大。

你們用荊棘燒火，鍋還未熱，他要用旋風把青的和燒着的一齊颳去。

列邦奔騰，好像多水滔滔；但神斥責他們，他們就遠遠逃避，又被追趕，如同山上的風前糠，又如暴風前的旋風土。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，必有災禍從這國發到那國，並有大暴風從地極颳起。「到那日，從地這邊直到地那邊都有耶和華所殺戮的。必無人哀哭，不得收殮，不得葬埋，必在地上成為糞土。

我也要打發野地的走獸到你們中間，搶吃你們的兒女，吞滅你們的牲畜，使你們的人數減少，道路荒涼。

看哪，耶和華必在火中降臨；他的車輦像旋風，以烈怒施行報應，以火焰施行責罰；
