你土地的出产和你劳碌得来的一切，都必被你不认识的民族吃尽；你必常常受压迫和压制；

耶和华必使你分散在万民中，从地的这边到地的那边；在那里你要事奉你和你的列祖不认识的别的神，就是木头和石头做的神。

耶和华必使你们分散在万民中；在耶和华要领你们所到的万国中，你们剩下的人数必不多。

看哪！耶和华的旋风，在震怒中发出，是旋转的狂风，必卷到恶人的头上。

“嗨！嗨！你们要从北方之地逃走（这是耶和华的宣告），因为我过去曾把你们分散在天的四方。”这是耶和华的宣告。

我耶和华已经剪除列国，他们的城楼被毁；我已经使他们的街道荒凉，以致杳无人迹；他们的城市荒废，以致无人存留，无人居住。

耶和华必在他子民头上显现，他的箭必像闪电一般射出；主耶和华必吹起号角，乘着南方的暴风而行。

关于海旁旷野的默示：有敌人从旷野，从可怕之地而来，好像南地的暴风猛烈扫过一般。

以色列家啊！我必使一国从远方来攻击你们。”这是耶和华的宣告。“那国历久不衰，从古就有；他们的言语你们不懂得，他们所说的你们不明白。

在战争之日的吶喊中，在风雨天的暴风中；我必在拉巴的城墙放火，烧毁他的堡垒。

看哪！耶和华的旋风，在震怒中发出，是横扫的狂风，必卷到恶人的头上。

到那时，必有话对这人民和耶路撒冷说：“有一阵热风从旷野光秃的高冈，刮向我的子民（“我的子民”原文作“我子民的女子”），不是为簸散，也不是为扬净；这过强的风要为我刮来，我就要向他们宣告我的判词。”

尼布甲尼撒第二十三年，护卫长尼布撒拉旦掳去犹大人七百四十五名。总数是四千六百人。

众领袖对巴录说：“你和耶利米都要去躲藏起来；不要给人知道你们在什么地方。”

“耶和华必从远方，从地极把一国的民带来，像鹰一般飞来攻击你；这民的语言你不会听；

耶和华不轻易发怒，可是大有能力；他绝不以有罪的为无罪。耶和华乘着狂风暴雨而来，云彩是他脚下的尘土。

你用他的枪，刺透他战士的头。他们来如暴风，把我们驱散。他们的喜好，是暗中吞噬穷人。

这样，就应验了耶和华藉耶利米所说的话：直到这地享满了安息，因为这地在荒凉的日子，就享安息，直到满了七十年。

我要把你们分散在万国中，我又拔出刀来追赶你们；你们的地成为荒凉，你们的城市变成荒场。

因此，我必倾出我的烈怒和怒气，在犹大的各城镇和耶路撒冷的街上烧起，以致它们都荒凉废弃，像今天一样。’

主啊！求你按着你的一切公义，使你的怒气和忿怒转离你的城耶路撒冷，就是你的圣山；因我们的罪和我们列祖的罪孽的缘故，耶路撒冷和你的子民成了在我们四围的人羞辱的对象。现在，我们的神啊！求你垂听你仆人的祷告和恳求；主啊！为了你自己的缘故，使你的脸光照你这荒凉了的圣所。我的神啊！求你侧耳而听，睁眼垂顾我们的荒凉，和那称为你名下的城；因为我们向你恳求，并不是因着自己的义，而是因着你的大怜悯。

从这四个角中的一个角，又长出一个小角来，这小角向南、向东和向荣美之地，不断强大起来。

你们用荆棘烧火，锅还未热，他要用旋风把烧着的和未烧着的一起刮去。

万族怒号，好像众水涌流，但神必斥责他们，使他们远远逃跑；他们又被追赶，如同山上风前的糠秕，又像暴风前的尘土卷动。

万军之耶和华这样说：“看哪！必有灾祸发出，从这国直到那国；必有大风暴从地极刮起。”到那日，从地的这边到地的那边，都必有被耶和华刺死的人；必没有人为他们悲哀，没有人收殓他们、埋葬他们；他们都必在地面上成为粪肥。

打发野地的走兽到你们中间，夺去你们的儿女，残害你们的牲畜，减少你们的人口，使你们的道路荒凉。

看哪！耶和华必在火中降临，他的战车好像旋风；他要以猛烈的怒气施行报应，用火焰施行斥责。
