Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze.

我復舉目、見有四車、出自二山之間、其山乃銅山也、

我又仰觀、有二岡巒、俱以銅鑄、其間四車齊出、

我又舉目而觀、見車四乘、自二山間而出、山乃銅山、

I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains— mountains of bronze.

I looked up again and saw four chariots. They were coming out from between two mountains. The mountains were made out of bronze.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two bronze mountains.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. The mountains were made of bronze.

Now I raised my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were going out from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains.

Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. And the mountains were made of bronze.

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains[ were] mountains of brass.

Once more I looked, and this time I saw four chariots emerging from between two mountains of bronze.

Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his nation, but not with his power.

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place.

But leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, amid the tender grass of the field. Let him be wet with the dew of heaven. Let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth.

And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns!And I said to the angel who talked with me,“ What are these?” And he said to me,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?

declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying,‘ My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.

all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all— you are the head of gold.Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and on them he has set the world.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O Lord.

No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the Lord.

Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?”

And four great beasts came up out of the sea, different from one another.The first was like a lion and had eagles’ wings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and the mind of a man was given to it.And behold, another beast, a second one, like a bear. It was raised up on one side. It had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told,‘ Arise, devour much flesh.’After this I looked, and behold, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back. And the beast had four heads, and dominion was given to it.After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.

When he is quiet, who can condemn? When he hides his face, who can behold him, whether it be a nation or a man?—

Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a flying scroll!

This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord,
