The Lord said to Satan,“ May the Lord correct you! He has chosen Jerusalem. So may he correct you! Isn’t this man Joshua like a burning stick pulled out of the fire?”

耶和华向撒但说：“撒但哪，耶和华责备你！就是拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你！这不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和华向撒但说：“撒但哪，耶和华责备你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你！这不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和华向撒但说：“撒但哪，耶和华责备你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你！这不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和华对撒旦说：“撒旦啊，耶和华斥责你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你！这人岂不像从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和华对撒但说：“撒但哪！耶和华斥责你，那拣选了耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你。这个人不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？”

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！就是揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華對撒旦說：「撒旦啊，耶和華斥責你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你！這人豈不像從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

耶和華對撒但說：“撒但哪！耶和華斥責你，那揀選了耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你。這個人不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？”

永恆主對撒但說：『撒但哪，永恆主叱責你！那揀選了耶路撒冷的永恆主叱責你！這不是從火中搶救出來的一根柴麼？』

耶和華對撒旦說：「撒旦哪，耶和華斥責你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你！這人難道不是從火中得解救的一根燃燒的木柴嗎？」

耶和華謂撒但曰、撒但歟、耶和華斥責爾、簡耶路撒冷之耶和華斥責爾、此非拔於火中之燼乎、

耶和華告撒但曰、我耶和華必責爾撒但、我耶和華以耶路撒冷民為悅、故必責爾、斯人得救、若脫於火、

主告撒但曰、撒但歟、我耶和華責爾、我耶和華選耶路撒冷者責爾、斯人如拔出於火之片柴、斯人如拔出於火之片柴原文作此非拔出於火之片柴乎

The Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”

The LORD said to Satan,“ The LORD rebuke you, Satan! May the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a log snatched from the fire?”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

The Lord said to Satan:“ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! May the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee:[ is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

The LORD said to Satan,“ May the LORD rebuke you, Satan! May the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Isn’t this man like a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say these things. He didn’t even say these things when he argued with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael didn’t dare to judge the devil. He didn’t say the devil was guilty of saying evil things. Instead, Michael said,“ May the Lord judge you!”

“ I destroyed some of you, just as I did Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick that was pulled out of the fire. In spite of that, you still have not returned to me,” announces the Lord.

Who can bring any charge against God’s chosen ones? God makes us right with himself.

Save others by pulling them out of the fire. To others, show mercy mixed with fear of sin. Hate even the clothes that are stained by the sins of those who wear them.

“‘ He says,“ My towns will be filled with good things once more. I will comfort Zion. And I will choose Jerusalem again.” ’ ”

He will receive Judah as his share in the holy land. And he will choose Jerusalem again.

Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him into a fit. The boy fell to the ground. But Jesus ordered the evil spirit to leave the boy. Then Jesus healed him and gave him back to his father.

The great dragon was thrown down to the earth, and his angels with him. The dragon is that old serpent called the devil, or Satan. He leads the whole world astray.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven. It said,“ Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God have come. The authority of his Messiah has come. Satan, who brings charges against our brothers and sisters, has been thrown down. He brings charges against them in front of our God day and night.

But I have prayed for you, Simon. I have prayed that your faith will not fail. When you have turned back, help your brothers to be strong.”

He stands ready to help those who need it. He saves them from those who are ready to sentence them to death.

How did God answer him? God said,“ I have kept 7,000 people for myself. They have not bowed down to Baal.”( 1 Kings 19:18)Some are also faithful today. They have been chosen by God’s grace.

“ I am not talking about all of you. I know the ones I have chosen. But this will happen so that this passage of Scripture will come true. It says,‘ The one who shared my bread has turned against me.’( Psalm 41:9)

But now I have chosen Jerusalem. I will put my Name there. And I have chosen David to rule over my people Israel.’

The God who gives peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

They will make war against the Lamb. But the Lamb will have victory over them. That’s because he is the most powerful Lord of all and the greatest King of all. His appointed, chosen and faithful followers will be with him.”

“ Be quiet!” Jesus said firmly.“ Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down in front of everybody. And it came out without hurting him.

“ At that time Michael will appear. He is the great prince of the angels. He guards your people. There will be a time of terrible suffering. Things will be worse than at any time since nations began. But at that time of suffering your people will be saved. Their names are written in the book of life.

“ Be quiet!” said Jesus firmly.“ Come out of him!”
