耶和华必在日间用烟云遮蔽整个锡安山和那里的会众，在夜间用火光照亮他们。祂的荣耀必遮盖一切，

你国中再没有暴力，境内再没有破坏和毁灭的事；你必给你的城墙取名叫‘拯救’，给你的城门取名叫‘赞美’。“太阳不再作你白昼的光，月亮也不再给你光辉，因为耶和华要作你永远的光，你的上帝要成为你的荣耀。

可是，耶和华啊！你是四面保护我的盾牌，你赐我荣耀，使我昂首而立。

圣城里不需要太阳和月亮的光照耀，因为有上帝的荣光照耀，羔羊就是圣城的灯。

再也没有咒诅，因为城里有上帝和羔羊的宝座，祂的奴仆都要事奉祂。他们必见上帝的面，上帝的名字必印在他们的额上。再没有黑夜，也不需要灯光和阳光，因为主上帝必做他们的光。他们要执掌王权直到永永远远。

上帝在城内的宫中，祂亲自做这城的庇护。

这救恩是启示外族人的光，也是你以色列子民的荣耀。”

我被圣灵感动，天使带着我到一座高大的山上，将从天上的上帝那里降下的圣城新耶路撒冷指给我看。城中充满上帝的荣光，璀璨如贵重的宝石，晶莹如碧玉。
