Jesus went into the temple complex and drove out all those buying and selling in the temple. He overturned the money changers’ tables and the chairs of those selling doves.And He said to them,“ It is written, My house will be called a house of prayer. But you are making it a den of thieves!”

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

After making a whip out of cords, He drove everyone out of the temple complex with their sheep and oxen. He also poured out the money changers’ coins and overturned the tables.He told those who were selling doves,“ Get these things out of here! Stop turning My Father’s house into a marketplace!”

Nothing profane will ever enter it: no one who does what is vile or false, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.

So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household,built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord.You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.

Then you will know that I am Yahweh your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, and foreigners will never overrun it again.

They came to Jerusalem, and He went into the temple complex and began to throw out those buying and selling in the temple. He overturned the money changers’ tables and the chairs of those selling doves,and would not permit anyone to carry goods through the temple complex.Then He began to teach them:“ Is it not written, My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations? But you have made it a den of thieves!”

But if I should be delayed, I have written so that you will know how people ought to act in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

You will eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice with your household in everything you do, because the Lord your God has blessed you.

For the time has come for judgment to begin with God’s household, and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?

When you eat and drink, don’t you eat and drink simply for yourselves?

Whoever remains in Zion and whoever is left in Jerusalem will be called holy— all in Jerusalem who are destined to live—

You will rejoice before the Lord your God— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance among you.

They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.For everything created by God is good, and nothing should be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.

Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality,no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom.And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

A road will be there and a way; it will be called the Holy Way. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for the one who walks the path. Even the fool will not go astray.

A merchant loves to extort with dishonest scales in his hands.

On that day, the words HOLY TO THE LORD will be on the bells of the horses. The pots in the house of the Lord will be like the sprinkling basins before the altar.

But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.
