在那些日子，懷孕的和奶孩子的就苦了。你們要祈求，好讓你們逃走的時候，不遇見冬天或安息日。因為那時必有大災難，自從世界的起頭直到如今，從沒有這樣的災難，將來也不會有。若不減少那些日子，凡血肉之軀的，就沒有一個能得救；可是為了選民，那些日子將減少。

「當你們看見那『施行毀滅的褻瀆者』站在不當站的地方（讀這經的人要會意），那時，在猶太的，應當逃到山上；

因為日子將到，你的仇敵要築起土壘包圍你，四面困住你，並要消滅你和你裏頭的兒女，連一塊石頭也不留在另一塊石頭上，因為你不知道你蒙眷顧的時候。」

你若謹守耶和華－你上帝的誡命，遵行他的道，他必照他向你所起的誓立你為自己神聖的子民。地上的萬民見你歸在耶和華的名下，就必懼怕你。在耶和華向你列祖起誓應許賜你的土地上，他必使你身所生的，牲畜所生的，地所產的，都豐富有餘。耶和華必為你敞開天上的寶庫，按時降雨在你的地上。他必賜福你手裏所做的一切。你必借給許多國家，卻不必去借貸。你若聽從耶和華－你上帝的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，謹守遵行，耶和華就必使你作首不作尾，居上不居下，只要你不偏左右，不背離我今日所吩咐你的一切話，也不隨從別神，事奉它們。」

「當你們看見先知但以理所說的那『施行毀滅的褻瀆者』站在聖地（讀這經的人要會意），那時，在猶太的，應當逃到山上；

我要聚集萬民，帶他們下到約沙法谷去，在那裏我要為我百姓，我產業以色列的緣故，向萬民施行審判；因為他們把我的百姓分散到列國，瓜分了我的土地，

王就大怒，發兵除滅那些兇手，燒燬他們的城。

看哪，這些都寫在我面前。我必不靜默，卻要施行報應，將你們和你們祖先的罪孽全都報應在後人身上；因為他們在山上燒香，在岡上褻瀆我，我要按他們先前所行的，報應在他們身上；這是耶和華說的。」

第四國必堅壯如鐵，就像鐵能打碎砸碎一切；鐵怎樣壓碎一切，那國也必照樣打碎壓碎。你既看見像的腳和腳趾頭，一半是陶匠的泥，一半是鐵，那國將來也必分裂。你既看見鐵和泥攙雜，那國也必有鐵的力量。那腳趾頭既是半鐵半泥，那國也必半強半弱。你既看見鐵和泥攙雜，他們必有混雜的後裔，卻不能彼此相合，正如鐵和泥不能相合。

他們在錫安玷污婦人，在猶大城鎮污辱少女。他們吊起領袖的手，使長老臉上無光。

他必豎立大旗，召集遠方的國民，把他們從地極叫來。看哪，他們必急速奔來，

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷啊，你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死那奉差遣到你這裏來的人。我多少次想聚集你的兒女，好像母雞把小雞聚集在翅膀底下，但是你們不願意。看吧，你們的家要被廢棄成為荒蕪。

敵人伸手奪取她的一切貴重物品；她眼見列國侵入她的聖所，你曾吩咐他們不可進入你的集會。

但另一婦人就是在上的耶路撒冷，是自由的，她是我們的母親。因為經上記着：「不懷孕、不生養的，你要歡樂；未曾經過產難的，你要高聲歡呼；因為沒有丈夫的，比有丈夫的有更多的兒女。」

這全地的人，三分之二將被剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。這是耶和華說的。我要使這三分之一經過火，熬煉他們，如熬煉銀子；試煉他們，如試煉金子。他們要求告我的名，我必應允他們。我說：「這是我的子民。」他們要說：「耶和華是我的上帝。」

當因我所造的歡喜快樂，直到永遠；看哪，因為我造耶路撒冷為人所喜，造其中的居民為人所樂。
