從迦巴直到耶路撒冷南方臨門的全地都將變為荒原，但耶路撒冷必聳立、存留在原處——從便雅憫門到第一門之處，又到角門，再從哈楠業樓到王的榨酒池那裡。

斯土將成為平原、自迦巴至耶路撒冷南之臨門、耶路撒冷必將卓越、而居其所、自便雅憫門、至首門之處、延及隅門、復自哈楠業樓、至王之酒醡、

耶路撒冷南有臨門、自臨門至基巴有平原、厥後遍境必若是、耶路撒冷必將崛興、有人居處、自便雅憫門、至首建之門、延及邑隅之門、自哈拿業戍樓、至王之酒醡、

全地必變為平原、變為平原或作變若亞拉巴自迦巴延及臨門、在耶路撒冷之南、耶路撒冷城必將高起、高起或作崛興其中人民、仍居原處、自便雅憫門至於古門之處、古門之處或作先前有門之處延及邑隅之門、自哈楠業戍樓至王之壓酒處、

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.

The whole land south of Jerusalem will be changed. From Geba to Rimmon it will become like the Arabah Valley. But Jerusalem will be raised up high. It will be raised from the Benjamin Gate to the First Gate to the Corner Gate. It will be raised from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. And it will remain in its place.

The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem shall remain aloft on its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

「那日，我必使猶大的族長如火盆在木柴中，又如火把在禾捆裏；他們必左右燒滅四圍列國的民。耶路撒冷人必仍住本處，就是耶路撒冷。

利巴勿、實忻、亞因、臨門，共二十九座城，還有屬城的村莊。

耶和華如此說：我必使雅各被擄去的帳棚歸回，也必顧惜他的住處。城必建造在原舊的山岡；宮殿也照舊有人居住。

於是亞撒王宣告猶大眾人，不准一個推辭，吩咐他們將巴沙修築拉瑪所用的石頭、木頭都運去，用以修築便雅憫的迦巴和米斯巴。

他到了便雅憫門那裏，有守門官名叫伊利雅，是哈拿尼亞的孫子、示利米雅的兒子，他就拿住先知耶利米，說：「你是投降迦勒底人哪！」

對他說：「你跑去告訴那少年人說，耶路撒冷必有人居住，好像無城牆的鄉村，因為人民和牲畜甚多。

那時，大祭司以利亞實和他的弟兄眾祭司起來建立羊門，分別為聖，安立門扇，又築城牆到哈米亞樓，直到哈楠業樓，分別為聖。

在王宮的太監古實人以伯‧米勒，聽見他們將耶利米下了牢獄（那時王坐在便雅憫門口），

只剩下六百人，轉身向曠野逃跑，到了臨門磐，就在那裏住了四個月。

其餘的人轉身向曠野逃跑，往臨門磐去。以色列人在道路上殺了他們五千人，如拾取遺穗一樣，追到基頓又殺了他們二千人。

又過了以法蓮門、古門、魚門、哈楠業樓、哈米亞樓，直到羊門，就在護衛門站住。

以色列王約阿施在伯‧示麥擒住約哈斯的孫子、約阿施的兒子、猶大王亞瑪謝，將他帶到耶路撒冷，又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，從以法蓮門直到角門，共四百肘；

他們的五個城邑是以坦、亞因、臨門、陀健、亞珊；

耶和華說：「日子將到，這城必為耶和華建造，從哈楠業樓直到角門。準繩要往外量出，直到迦立山，又轉到歌亞。拋屍的全谷和倒灰之處，並一切田地，直到汲淪溪，又直到東方馬門的拐角，都要歸耶和華為聖，不再拔出，不再傾覆，直到永遠。」

正如先知以賽亞書上所記的話，說：在曠野有人聲喊着說：預備主的道，修直他的路！一切山窪都要填滿；大小山岡都要削平！彎彎曲曲的地方要改為正直；高高低低的道路要改為平坦！凡有血氣的，都要見神的救恩！

到那日，我必建立大衛倒塌的帳幕，堵住其中的破口，把那破壞的建立起來，重新修造，像古時一樣，

又從便雅憫支派的地業中給了他們基遍和屬城的郊野，迦巴和屬城的郊野，

他們過了隘口，在迦巴住宿。拉瑪人戰兢；掃羅的基比亞人逃跑。

他對我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。大山哪，你算甚麼呢？在所羅巴伯面前，你必成為平地。他必搬出一塊石頭，安在殿頂上。人且大聲歡呼說：『願恩惠恩惠歸與這殿！』」

有人聲喊着說：在曠野預備耶和華的路，在沙漠地修平我們神的道。一切山窪都要填滿，大小山岡都要削平；高高低低的要改為平坦，崎崎嶇嶇的必成為平原。

還有米拉利族的人在西布倫支派的地中得了臨摩挪與其郊野，他泊與其郊野；

末後的日子，耶和華殿的山必堅立，超乎諸山，高舉過於萬嶺；萬民都要流歸這山。

全會眾打發人到臨門磐的便雅憫人那裏，向他們說和睦的話。
