And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:

And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Jehovah, and their offspring with them.And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Thou hast avouched Jehovah this day to be thy God, and that thou wouldest walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and hearken unto his voice:and Jehovah hath avouched thee this day to be a people for his own possession, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;and to make thee high above all nations that he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto Jehovah thy God, as he hath spoken.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you:

And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

But who can abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer unto Jehovah offerings in righteousness.

For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back; for I have mercy upon them; and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Jehovah their God, and I will hear them.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry.The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.The righteous cried, and Jehovah heard, And delivered them out of all their troubles.Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But Jehovah delivereth him out of them all.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people:

And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God:and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first- born.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him:for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold; But Jehovah trieth the hearts.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Jehovah hath said, and among the remnant those whom Jehovah doth call.

And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

My tabernacle also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;each man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man’s work of what sort it is.

and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

Happy is the people that is in such a case; Yea, happy is the people whose God is Jehovah.

But he knoweth the way that I take; When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am Jehovah their God;but I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am Jehovah.

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant, and Israel, who I have chosen:Thus saith Jehovah that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:and they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.One shall say, I am Jehovah’s; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto Jehovah, and surname himself by the name of Israel.Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.

Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
