“ On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

“ At that time a fountain will be opened for the benefit of David’s family line. It will also bless the others who live in Jerusalem. It will wash away their sins. It will make them pure and‘ clean.’

“ On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said,“ Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

This is He who came by water and blood— Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me,“ Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”And I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” So he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

O Lord, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed.“ Those who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth, Because they have forsaken the Lord, The fountain of living waters.”

“ Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.“ Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord,“ Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

“ And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.And this shall be his uncleanness in regard to his discharge— whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is stopped up by his discharge, it is his uncleanness.Every bed is unclean on which he who has the discharge lies, and everything on which he sits shall be unclean.And whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.He who sits on anything on which he who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.And he who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.Any saddle on which he who has the discharge rides shall be unclean.Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until evening. He who carries any of those things shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.And whomever the one who has the discharge touches, and has not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.The vessel of earth that he who has the discharge touches shall be broken, and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.‘ And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water; then he shall be clean.On the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and give them to the priest.Then the priest shall offer them, the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord because of his discharge.‘ If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall wash all his body in water, and be unclean until evening.And any garment and any leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be unclean until evening.Also, when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.‘ If a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.Everything that she lies on during her impurity shall be unclean; also everything that she sits on shall be unclean.Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.And whoever touches anything that she sat on shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.If anything is on her bed or on anything on which she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening.And if any man lies with her at all, so that her impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.‘ If a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, other than at the time of her customary impurity, or if it runs beyond her usual time of impurity, all the days of her unclean discharge shall be as the days of her customary impurity. She shall be unclean.Every bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity.Whoever touches those things shall be unclean; he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.‘ But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.And on the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting.Then the priest shall offer the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her before the Lord for the discharge of her uncleanness.‘ Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they defile My tabernacle that is among them.This is the law for one who has a discharge, and for him who emits semen and is unclean thereby,and for her who is indisposed because of her customary impurity, and for one who has a discharge, either man or woman, and for him who lies with her who is unclean.’”

“ The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them.

I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.

Then a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for the water of purification; it is for purifying from sin.And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. It shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them.‘ He who touches the dead body of anyone shall be unclean seven days.He shall purify himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then he will be clean. But if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean.Whoever touches the body of anyone who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord. That person shall be cut off from Israel. He shall be unclean, because the water of purification was not sprinkled on him; his uncleanness is still on him.‘ This is the law when a man dies in a tent: All who come into the tent and all who are in the tent shall be unclean seven days;and every open vessel, which has no cover fastened on it, is unclean.Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.‘ And for an unclean person they shall take some of the ashes of the heifer burnt for purification from sin, and running water shall be put on them in a vessel.A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, the slain, the dead, or a grave.The clean person shall sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, wash his clothes, and bathe in water; and at evening he shall be clean.‘ But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself, that person shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. The water of purification has not been sprinkled on him; he is unclean.It shall be a perpetual statute for them. He who sprinkles the water of purification shall wash his clothes; and he who touches the water of purification shall be unclean until evening.Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the person who touches it shall be unclean until evening.’”

“ Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe.

If I wash myself with snow water, And cleanse my hands with soap,Yet You will plunge me into the pit, And my own clothes will abhor me.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
