In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place— Jerusalem.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.

“ At that time Judah’s family groups will be like a fire pot in a pile of wood. They will be like a burning torch among bundles of grain. They will destroy all the surrounding nations on every side. But Jerusalem will remain unharmed in its place.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.

“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a flame that sets a woodpile ablaze or like a burning torch among sheaves of grain. They will burn up all the neighboring nations right and left, while the people living in Jerusalem remain secure.

On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves; they will consume all the peoples around them on the right and the left, while Jerusalem continues to be inhabited on its site, in Jerusalem.

In that day will I make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and they of Jerusalem shall yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” For the Lord has spoken.

who said to him,“ Run, speak to this young man, saying:‘ Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

Now the leaders of the people dwelt at Jerusalem; the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine-tenths were to dwell in other cities.And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.These are the heads of the province who dwelt in Jerusalem.( But in the cities of Judah everyone dwelt in his own possession in their cities— Israelites, priests, Levites, Nethinim, and descendants of Solomon’s servants.)Also in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin. Their overseer was Zabdiel the son of one of the great men.Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the heads of the Levites, had the oversight of the business outside of the house of God;Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, the leader who began the thanksgiving with prayer; Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.Moreover the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who kept the gates, were one hundred and seventy-two.And the rest of Israel, of the priests and Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, everyone in his inheritance.But the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel. And Ziha and Gishpa were over the Nethinim.Also the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha, of the sons of Asaph, the singers in charge of the service of the house of God.For it was the king’s command concerning them that a certain portion should be for the singers, a quota day by day.Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was the king’s deputy in all matters concerning the people.And as for the villages with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt in Kirjath Arba and its villages, Dibon and its villages, Jekabzeel and its villages;in Jeshua, Moladah, Beth Pelet,Hazar Shual, and Beersheba and its villages;in Ziklag and Meconah and its villages;in En Rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages; in Lachish and its fields; in Azekah and its villages. They dwelt from Beersheba to the Valley of Hinnom.Also the children of Benjamin from Geba dwelt in Michmash, Aija, and Bethel, and their villages;in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;in Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;in Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;in Lod, Ono, and the Valley of Craftsmen.Some of the Judean divisions of Levites were in Benjamin.

The Lord of hosts will defend them; They shall devour and subdue with slingstones. They shall drink and roar as if with wine; They shall be filled with blood like basins, Like the corners of the altar.

“ These are the exits of the city. On the north side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits( the gates of the city shall be named after the tribes of Israel), the three gates northward: one gate for Reuben, one gate for Judah, and one gate for Levi;on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Joseph, one gate for Benjamin, and one gate for Dan;on the south side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Simeon, one gate for Issachar, and one gate for Zebulun;on the west side, four thousand five hundred cubits with their three gates: one gate for Gad, one gate for Asher, and one gate for Naphtali.All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.”

“ Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, And I will make your hooves bronze; You shall beat in pieces many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the Lord, And their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.”

“ Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff.You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the Lord, And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

And this One shall be peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land, And when he treads in our palaces, Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight princely men.They shall waste with the sword the land of Assyria, And the land of Nimrod at its entrances; Thus He shall deliver us from the Assyrian, When he comes into our land And when he treads within our borders.Then the remnant of Jacob Shall be in the midst of many peoples, Like dew from the Lord, Like showers on the grass, That tarry for no man Nor wait for the sons of men.And the remnant of Jacob Shall be among the Gentiles, In the midst of many peoples, Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Who, if he passes through, Both treads down and tears in pieces, And none can deliver.

And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold— the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, The Holy Mountain.’“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.’

Therefore the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Will send leanness among his fat ones; And under his glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire.So the Light of Israel will be for a fire, And his Holy One for a flame; It will burn and devour His thorns and his briers in one day.And it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, Both soul and body; And they will be as when a sick man wastes away.

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; The city shall be built upon its own mound, And the palace shall remain according to its own plan.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord!

“ Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the city shall be built for the Lord from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.The surveyor’s line shall again extend straight forward over the hill Gareb; then it shall turn toward Goath.And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the Lord. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.”

You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.

All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin’s Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.The people shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And he shall snatch on the right hand And be hungry; He shall devour on the left hand And not be satisfied; Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm.

Open your doors, O Lebanon, That fire may devour your cedars.

by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

‘ Therefore thus says the Lord:“ I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it,” says the Lord of hosts,“ And a surveyor’s line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.”’

And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
