Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent to go throughout the earth.”

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke. He said,“ They are the messengers the Lord has sent out. He told them to go all through the earth.”

So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered,‘ These are they whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.’

The rider standing among the myrtle trees then explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent out to patrol the earth.”

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the LORD has sent to patrol the earth.”

And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees responded and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”

And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth.”

And the man that stood among the myrtle- trees answered and said, These are they whom Jehovah hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”

And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These[ are they] whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke up and said,“ These are the ones whom the LORD has sent to walk about on the earth.”

The man who stood among the myrtle trees answered,“ They are the ones Yahweh has sent to go back and forth through the earth.”

眾天使不都是事奉的靈，奉差遣為那將要承受救恩的人服務的嗎？

又有一天，神的眾使者來侍立在耶和華面前，撒但也來在其中。耶和華問撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，在那裏往返。」

誰藐視這日的事為小呢？他們見所羅巴伯手拿石垂線就歡喜。這七盞燈是耶和華的眼睛，遍察全地。」

耶和華對撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答耶和華說：「我從地上走來走去，在那裏往返。」

「我夜間觀看，看哪，有一人騎着紅馬，站在窪地的番石榴樹中間。在他身後有紅色、褐色和白色的馬。」

他在腹中抓住哥哥的腳跟，壯年的時候與神角力，他與天使角力，並且得勝。他曾哀哭，懇求施恩。在伯特利遇見耶和華，耶和華在那裏吩咐我們，耶和華是萬軍之神，耶和華是他可記念的名。

又從其中顯出四個活物的形像。他們的形狀是這樣：有人的形像，各有四張臉，四個翅膀。他們的腿是直的，腳掌好像牛犢的蹄，燦爛如磨亮的銅。在四面的翅膀以下有人的手。這四個活物的臉和翅膀是這樣：翅膀彼此相接，行走時並不轉彎，各自往前直行。至於臉的形像：四個活物各有人的臉，右面有獅子的臉，左面有牛的臉，也有鷹的臉；這就是他們的臉。他們的翅膀向上張開，各有兩個翅膀彼此相接，用另外兩個翅膀遮體。他們各自往前直行。靈往哪裏去，他們就往哪裏去，行走時並不轉彎。至於四活物的形像，就如燒着火炭的形狀，又如火把的形狀。有火在四活物中間來回移動，這火有光輝，從火中發出閃電。這些活物往來奔走，好像電光一閃。

只剩下雅各一人。有一個人來和他摔跤，直到黎明。那人見自己勝不過他，就摸了他的大腿窩一下。雅各的大腿窩就在和那人摔跤的時候扭了。那人說：「天快亮了，讓我走吧！」雅各說：「你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。」那人說：「你叫甚麼名字？」他說：「雅各。」那人說：「你的名字不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因為你與神和人較力，都得勝了。」雅各問他說：「請告訴我你的名字。」那人說：「何必問我的名字呢？」於是他在那裏為雅各祝福。雅各就給那地方起名叫毗努伊勒，說：「我面對面見了神，我的性命仍得保全。」太陽剛出來的時候，雅各經過毗努伊勒，他的大腿就瘸了。

萬軍之耶和華說：刀劍哪，興起攻擊我的牧人，攻擊我的同伴吧！要擊打牧人，羊就分散了；我必反手攻擊那微小的。

聽從他命令、成全他旨意、有大能的天使啊，你們都要稱頌耶和華！你們行他所喜悅的，作他諸軍，作他僕役的啊，都要稱頌耶和華！
