耶路撒冷女乎、如遇夫子、為我言之、眷愛之情已多、令我消魂。

耶路撒冷眾女乎、切求爾、如遇我之良人、則告之、我因思愛致病、

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you— if you find my beloved, what will you tell him? Tell him I am faint with love.

Women of Jerusalem, make me a promise. If you find the one who loves me, tell him our love has made me weak.”

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my beloved, that you tell him I am sick with love.

Make this promise, O women of Jerusalem— If you find my lover, tell him I am weak with love.

Young women of Jerusalem, I charge you, if you find my love, tell him that I am lovesick.

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, If ye find my beloved, That ye tell him, that I am sick from love.

Refresh me with raisin cakes, Sustain me with apples, Because I am lovesick.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, God.My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?My tears have been my food day and night, While they say to me all day long,“ Where is your God?”

My voice rises to God, and I will cry aloud; My voice rises to God, and He will listen to me.In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord; In the night my hand was stretched out and did not grow weary; My soul refused to be comforted.When I remember God, then I am restless; When I sigh, then my spirit feels weak. Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me,

Brothers and sisters, even if a person is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you are not tempted as well.Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.So have I seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and glory.Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You.

“ Swear to me, you daughters of Jerusalem: Do not disturb or awaken my love Until she pleases.”

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.

My soul languishes for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.My eyes fail with longing for Your word, While I say,“ When will You comfort me?”Though I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.
